Sorry it took us 2 years after coming off cerazette. However dh was working away for the first of those years so we were severely restricted as to when we could dtd!! Not sure about the effects of ibs though. Good luck I hope you get your Bfp soon

I came off Cerazette last September and I'm now 20wks pregnant so I conceived in December. I'm fortunate not to suffer from any other issues such as ibs so I dont know what impact that would have, if any.
Hopefully another poster will know more about ttc with ibs and I hope your bfp comes soon xx

Hi Bumblebee. I came off cerezette in December after being on it for about 7 years. I have ibs too and am currently on cycle number 2. I like to think it won't effect ttc but it didn't help last month when i was symptom spotting! I kept reading women get twinges and pain in the stomach area in the early stages and i forgot that pains and twinges are just normal for me anyway :) x

Hi bumblebee, sorry to interrupt your thread but how long did it take your periods to get back to normal? I was on Cerazette then Cerelle (same thing but generic) for about 2 years, came off it at the end of Jan and it was 8 weeks before I had a period at all. Did your periods carry on when you were on it or stop? Mine continued for the first 6 months or so but irregular and then stopped completely so I didn't have one at all for 18 months.

I know a few people with ibs and it doesn't seem to have harmed their chances at all, one took about 6 months ttc and the other a bit less.
