Implantation Bleed

Sorry but am unsure what an implantation bleed is. Can someone please explain.

It is when the egg burrows into the lining of the uterus. It happens about a week after the thermal shift. It's not a real bleed, more a spotting.

Does that mean a week after Ov or is Thermal shift something different?

Yes, about 1 week from OV as you will test positive around af time. I had very faint spotting only when I wiped after being to the loo.sorry if tmi.

Not TMI at all. WE need to know these things and this seems to be the best place to find out.

I think it is worth noting though that not everyone has implantation blleding.I didnt have any with dd. so it was something that I learnt from MN!

I did have some sort of pink spotting a few days after BD with DD2. Not sure if it was implantation bleed though.

implantation will be more of a red/brown color. I had it with ds as well as a couple of episodes of pink spotting, but none with this pregnancy.

So basically if you are pg you may or maynot get implantation bleeding (or spotting in other words) and this happens around 1 week after ovulation?

I think i had an implantation bleed yesterday morning, went to the loo when i woke up and wiped, there was redish slime on the tissue so though AF had come so put tp in. Went to change it 4 hrs later, nothing on it so put a pad on, 10hrs later still nothing and still nothing today. This will be my fourth pg (if im pg) and i never had an implantation bleed with the other three. When can i test does anyone know as im not having any AF's due to Bfing. xx
