First post - been trying unsuccessfully for just over 3 years now. Period 5 days late. Took the test this morning & can't decide if I'm imagining it but sure I can see a line.

I know the best advice is to wait a week & test again, but thought id ask you lovely ladies on here.

What do you think? Many thanks xxx

Thank you so much for all the kind words. 3 years of trying naturally & regularly. Last month bought a Clearblue fertility monitor from eBay - first month using it and it's done the job. Can't believe it. Now I guess all the nervousness starts - really hoping it all works out & I can report back. No more lurking ;) thanks again ladies xxx

Ah that's even nicer knowing you've waited a long time for it!! All the best :)

I'm sure all will be fine :)

I can understand you not wanting to get ahead of yourself though especially after 3 years of it that must have been tough xxxx

I have heard quite a bit about the monitor, if its not to nosy to ask was it brought new or used i see a listing for one used with a few ttc 'aids' with it but wasn't too sure as the listing said there was no way of testing a few bits if they worked or not xx

Impatientlywaiting it was new & unused in the box, came with a box of 20 test sticks. You pressed a button on the first day of your period then switch it on every morning - it would tell you if you needed to do a test & pop it in the machine. I'm a bit rubbish with technology but was dead simple to use. Paid £50 for the monitor & 20 test sticks. I guess it's a big of a gamble buying anything on eBay - I looked at feedback & other bits that were selling. Have to have a bit of faith in humankind I guess & hope for the best! Very best on your journey & still really touched by how kind & helpful you all are on here :)
