After an implantation bleed, how soon can i test??

had one yesterday morning,( well think it was) so when can i test? Ive got some 10mGI tests.

Hi Cherrypie556 It really depends on how much of the hormone is in your urine, I got a positive test 4 days before my period was due (10 days po) but I have friends who didn't get a postive test when they were 8 weeks pregnant!! Do a test if you want, but be prepared it may be negative. I did 9 tests before I believed I was actually pregnant(first test was very faint line) I was only convinced when the Dr confirmed my test!! Good luck let me know what the result is.

BFN!!! still hoping its to early though, someone has since told me it can take up to a fortnight after the bleed to get a positive!

generally an implantation bleed can occur around about the time your af is due, and generally most tests are reliable from the day your af is due. When are you due on? what cd are you on etc? A lot of people on here do experience some spotting before their af is due, and this appears to be more noticeable once you start ttc, as do the simptoms of af which are ve close to pregnancy which most of us swore we never had before ttc, but in reality we were never looking out for them and thus never noticed them.

Will keep fingers crossed that you are pg, but please don't convince yourself this was an implantation bleed as there's more chance that it wasn't, so tbh you should wait until your af is due and test again then.

I dont know when af is due as im not having any to to breastfeeding. I ve never ever spotted before an af, ever.

I'm in the same boat. A bit of bleeding, tiny amount and period type pain today. 5 days before period due. My mind is working over time wondering if this is a sign of pregnancy for me. Will have to wait til sunday to test. Have done 1 early test but -ve.
