Have I had a very early miscarriage?

I hope someone can help. I haven't been trying for long, only came off the pill a month ago but had a suspicion that I had fallen this month as had weird symptoms - all negative tests though.
I haven't got a period or any bleeding yet. But when I have just gone to the toilet (sorry if tmi) in my knickers there was a very weird rubbery red/brown translucent blob about 2 cm by 2 cm round sort of stretchy too though. So shocked me that i should dh too.
i haven't ever seen anything like it and as i said there is no bleeding.
is this a very early miscarriage or if not does anyone know what it is or could be?

If you haven't had a BFP yet there is no reason to assume it is a miscarriage. When are you due? Could if be implantation or beginning of period?

Thanks dulcet. I have no idea how these things work so it was just the first thing that I thought it might have been. I haven't had a period after coming off the pill yet just a withdrawal bleed that was v light and last a few hours. That was about 10 days ago and nothing since just tiny aches and twinges since then. According to opk haven't ovulated since then yet either though.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. So frustrating not knowing what is going on with my body!!

When I first came of the pill I felt very odd. I was sure I had got pg a couple of times. However I think it was just all the change in hormones.

Also, don't forget that the periods you have on the pill aren't true periods. I found that mine changed when I came off the pill. They went very... stringy.

I've got used to not having any periods on the pill, so anything abnormal coming out is probably going to weird me out even more!
yeah maybe just hormones doing weird things to me!!
