Hi, this is my first post on Mumsnet having lurked for a while. My husband and I would like to start trying in December so I have been tracking my cycles in preparation. We have been using the withdrawal method (I don't get on with the pill and a happy accident would not be the end of the world for us) successfully for a few years now. As I have been tracking my ovulation carefully, we decided to change to rhythm method with the view that, again, if we made a mistake it wouldn't be the end of the world.
I DID make a slight mistake...we had unprotected sex on day 9, though I later found out (that day!!) that you can get pregnant at that time, though it is unlikely. We also had sex on days 12 and 13 but he withdrew (I KNOW this is risky business...). On day 15 or 16 I had a tiny bit of spotting (in case this means anything).
It is now day 24 of my cycle and my boobs are massive and feel like boulders and the last two mornings I have woken up feeling really queasy and headachy. Sometimes my boobs do ache around this time, but they have never swollen up this much. I have also been sleeping badly and having some cramps, though this could be too much Easter Egg ;)
Am I over thinking this? Is it too early for these symptoms to be pregnancy? Thanks.
