My husband and I have been trying for our first baby on and off for the last three years. Our situation is a little complicated in that he works abroad on a rotational basis, six weeks at home and then eight weeks away, throughout the year. We always assumed it would take longer than usual for us to conceive because if this and over the past couple if years have been very stressed due to family issues, so we weren't alarmed initially. However, now we are really very keen to get on and start our family as my husband is now 42. We decided to get checked out and sadly my husband has inactive sperm and it has been recommended that we get some help. I just feel so sad and I'm so worried.....it never occurred to me that something could be wrong and now he has gone back to work so I am dealing with it all by myself. Has anyone had any experience of this? Any ideas what treatment the doctors will recommend? Not sure how it will all work with him being out of the country so much Sad

Hi, sorry you are going through this stress.

Can I recommend you repost with a title explaining you are looking for information on treatment for male infertility, and also try looking at the infertility threads.

I have no experience, and can't help, but there will be plenty of women here that can. I wish you success.
