Ovulation at last? DTD Question...

Hi all,

I stopped taking my pill in Dec and have been using OPKs ever since but my periods have been all over the place and never got a second line on OPK tests. However, last night I got a fairly dark line 'more a less' as dark as the control line so me and my partner DTD. I woke up this morning (tested with second pee) and the line was darker, again more a less as dark as the control line. Tested again when I come home from work and it was slightly lighter but me and partner DTD again tonight. It's the first time I've had these lines since using the OPKs and I've had more CM so I think I may be ovulating at last. More CM last night then tonight.

So the dark line means an LH surge? and with the strongest being this morning do that mean I would be ovulating in next 12-24 hours? Possibly already? Do we need to DTD again tomorrow?

We have DTD last 2 evenings so I'm hoping we have it covered??

Look forward to your replies, soz if it's too much info.

Congrats! Sounds like you're ovulating! The surge could have been anytime between that night and the morning, so you should ovulate within 12-48 hours after that, but I think it's on average 32 hours after the peak. It's impossible to pinpoint though, so you did well to DTD last night and the night before. Healthy sperm will live inside you for a few days, so you DTD on the right time. If you can't make tonight don't worry, it sounds like you've got it covered.
