My mother's family are Mellings, from Urmstone and possibly Wigan originally. Such an unusual name ( Dutch in origin I think) that's why I pounced on you [smiile]

Dh family are from Bispham area of Blackpool, apparently Melling is a common Northern name

We only got married last month, dont recall any invites going to Urmstone, would be a coincidence if they had attended lmao
