Just popped on to say that story has had me in tears on and off all day. What a brilliant success his fundraising has been.

It's a very inspiring story and I had a little tear too. Sad

I have to say I get a bug unsympathetic if dh claims to be tired. I've lived with an underactive thyroid for 19 years at times making my body shut completely down with exhaustion. In top I'm anaemic. So i function purely on determination mostly. I've never turned dh down, unless striking as I think it's such an important part of a relationship. I miss the intimacy when we don't dtd and wrongly or rightly I feel unattractive and rejected. Also annoying when he can play games online until 3am, but can't fuck me for 5 minutes first the rage is really raging today Angry

MademoiselleG · 23/04/2014 18:11

Ooh the games until 3 am. I fume at those too! It's not that he doesn't want sex (yet...), but he'll say he's too tired to get up for dd. I have a job too! Grrrrr.

When should I pee? (On a stick)

Has anyone ever found anything helpful for pmt? Other than beating your husband with sticks!!!! Shock

Can I just add, we haven't dtd since ov! (4wks today) Who's feeling fat, bloated and unattractive? Yup ME!

I have threatened DH with getting a man in. I wouldn't advise this. I was only joking to provoke a reaction, I didn't get the reaction I'd hoped for! Blush

Cake?

Tbh I find cake is a good way to distract me from feeling so bloody cross, but I'm not sure it actually eases the pmt, just masks it!

If I can get over myself long enough to go and do something productive (like ride my pony or walk the dogs - or do both at once, like we did just now clever beasties they are Grin) then I find that I feel better once the endorphins kick in. Obviously, the hard part is making yourself do it in the first place!

Sometimes a good kick up the backside can help Wink...and then after all that productive-ness, I return to cake. Seriously, why am I not the size of a house?!

Now gp has told us not to as well. Is it bad I'm enjoying a break from it?
Also doing no house work ;)
Are any of you lovely ladies POAS tomorrow?

MrsE: it all depends on the kind of stick you beat him with, hehe...

We don't dtd in the 2ww either, or once in a blue moon. Mostly because of online games and tiredness too! There's a surprise. Men huh, who needs em?

Still waiting on any sign of af. Nothing to report. Feel knackered at 7pm. Symptom? Of what? Stick says no. I'm not using my other test until after cd32 if nothing has happened as that's been my longest cycle to date. I really thought I was gonna get af today coz of my early ov. Maybe I just didn't ov? Who knows. I hate being a woman!

Victoria I think that exact same thing every time cake day comes around! My OH isn't too bad re: gaming onto the early hours, although he would happily spend all weekend sat on the sofa next to me, "zombie bashing" (and those are his words, not mine") and completely ignoring the fact that I exist! I don't mind him playing if I'm on here/reading my book/out (ha ha!) but ffs, if I'm sat next to him, the least he can do is acknowledge my existence! He grumbles at the time I spend on here sometimes, but in my defence he's usually watching some twaddly programme on the telly or he's faffing on his tablet and ignoring me anyway.

Men. I suppose we need them (and I do love my OH most of the time, there's just the odd time when he drives me up the wall!) but by heck, life could be so much simpler without them.

Rant over.

Going to go and snuggle up with my book now and then might go to bed alone (OH might return from the gym at some point tonight - he's only been gone since half past bleeding five! Grr).

Good luck with the marking Kitty. I think an MN distraction is a good reward for each bit of marking Smile.

tootles off to read my book
