Can anyone advice the best way to time sex when TTC when you're older and less spring-chicken-like.

I am 39, OH is three years older. We have a 17 month old and have been TTC since he was 6 months old. Had a mc at the beginning February, three cycles since with no luck.

I'm starting to think we could be having too much sex. I know I am ovulating as I have been tracking through temping and opks. My cycles are around 26 days long,OV on cd 13. Out approach so far has been lots of sex. Every day during fertile window and the cycle we conceived we had sex twice on the day before peak. Thinking this might be the way forward we did the same thing this month and bfn.

So I started researching again and can see that some people think this is the wrong approach unless you know your partner has a high sperm count. So this month I was thinking about just having sex on day of peak and two days before.

Any thoughts or advice?

Every other day from around 6 days before ovulation to 4 days afterwards is a good bet just to fully capture the fertile period.
