maybe test this time around? have you been well this month? Sometimes if you have upset tummy for eg. they are not as effective. I don't start until 3 days after I stop taking my pill.

I would test just for peace of mind. When I took the pill, I could tell to the hour when I would come on! If you are not seeing your usual norm - get it checked out before you start another pack. Hope all is okay for you.

Have you taken antibiotics recently?
Thinking of you.

If you took the whole pack there's almost zero chance that you ovulated. You're more likely to ovulate if you miss one in the middle of the pack than if you miss one towards the end, but still v.unlikely if you just miss one.

Do a test if you're worried. It's poss to miss a period altogether sometimes - there's a first time for everything.

i missed a pill in the middle the pack before, but had a bleed & got a neg test, so carried on with this pack,

do you think its something to do with the missed pill from the pack before?

ive had cramps for days but no AF, like with my 2 pregnancies

No Jacsmum you're wrong. More likely to ovulate if you miss pills at beginning of pack, because it makes the pill free period longer. You could actually miss up to 3 in middle of pack...but obviously I wouldn't recommend it

kittylette · 24/08/2006 09:10

i read that before jennt whilst doing some research,

still no period, its a mystery!

ive had cramps for days like im about to come on though - thats worrying the most cause i was convinced with my 2 DSs i was about to 'come on'

Most people come on 2-3 days after finishing their pack. Missing 1 pill anywhere in a pack is not a problem, as long as all the others have been taken correctly. The same area of your brain that controls menstrual cycle / bleeding, also deals with stress and anxiety. Thus, if you are at all worried about your period not arriving, this will delay it further! I don't expect you are pregnant. Start taking the next pack on time and don't worry about it. If you don't have a bleed next month then get a test done. Or, if you're really worried wait until 3 weeks from the last time you had unprotected sex, and then do a test.
