Took a test and now I'm confused...

hi guys. I'll keep this brief. I have been feeling off the last few weeks but I put it down to being exhausted from tax year end season at work. I didn't even consider pregnancy because im on the pill. anyway...

last night I had a dream about a positive pregnancy test. im due on tomorrow so I thought sod it. I'll take a test. attached is how it looked after the recommended three minutes. very faint right?

five minutes later the test line disappeared! completely gone. im confused, my husband is buying another one at work and im going to take it in the morning, but today I dont know what to think!

Took a test and now I'm confused...

Never heard of the test line disappearing :s
But it certainly looks like a bfp to me.
What pill were u on?

im using microgynon. :)

I had no idea how much I wanted a kid until this all happened. im scared in case I get disappointed tomorrow. I have cramps right now and hoping period is not on her way.

Not a faint line at all but a disappearing control means yes you need to test again. Fingers crossed!

That certainly looks like a BFP to me too...I do hope retest shows + for you, it sounds like you would be very happy..

In my opinion if it was there at the recommended time then it's a yes... But I have heard of evap lines.

I've also read the best way to make sure it's not an evap line is to get one that says pregnant/not pregnant.

It's hard not to get your hopes up but fingers crossed for you!

That looks like quite a clear positive to me, although I have no idea why the line disappeared.

Was it a cheapie test as the line can disappear quite quickly with those.

If say you're pg as there needs to be hcg present for the line to appear in the first place. Good luck this morning! Xx

It looks like a clear positive to me, but the disappearing is odd. I kept the tests from my first pregnancy to compare to this one and the lines were still visible 9 months on.

hi guys. took a clearblue today as im due on and it was negative. im a little devastated lol but also kind of confused by my false positive yesterday. It's made my husband and I think a lot about what we want though and we've decided that I'll come off the pill. thank you for your support and advice ladies.

Oh bless you OP. There is nothing like a negative pregnancy test to make you realise you want a baby. Fingers crossed for you in the future xx
