Hi everyone,

We are currently trying to conceive DC3 after birth of DS2 19 months ago. In that time we have used no contraception but I was bfing up until 17 months, which I know inhibited ov.

I am on CD57 after my first AF since November 2011 Grin I finally on CDs55, 56 and today got positives on OPKs (55 and 56 at 3pm, today's at 9am this morning because we're going out in a bit and I was curious!). I've had no other signs of ov, no CM that I've noticed, can OPKs give a positive without actually oving or am I symptom spotting too early, is it possible it just not happened yet?

We dtd on day 52 and 55 but didn't manage last night due to DH's work, we might manage it tonight, hopefully.

Does anyone think we're in with a chance so far? My cycles seem completely screwed up and I don't know if we'll get the chance to DTD again today.

Sorry if I sound a bit desperate, before getting pg with DS1 my cycles ranged from 28 to 90 days and even the doctor said it was a miracle I ever got pregnant. As we've conceived 4 times successfully (resulting in 2 DC), we've never had any kind of investigations though due to my chequered history the doctor has said to go and see him if it takes longer than 6 months to conceive. I suppose I think if I miss this ov I'll have to wait 3 months before my body might kick itself into gear again but I just don't know (and I'm now 36, soon to be 37 so age is against me too).

Sorry to ramble, I just needed to get that off my chest and have some hand holding!

Thanks!
Koko xx
