I was so confused to with all the TTC wired and wonderful things, not to mention the timing "pin the tail on the donkey" I call it!
MN ladies will help you as they did me!
Now I know enough to get on with it but still ask question along the way they are the "super hero TTC team" really
By the end of the day you wont be confused!

I'm on a high today!

Here some advice people on MN has give me!

"The pre-seed is sperm friendly lubricant that mimics what your own EWCM does in helping the sperm travel. I don't seem to have much EWCM (sorry TMI) so thought I'd get some and give nature a helping hand."

"Grapefruit juice - glass a day few days before and after ovulation."

"Cough syrup - taken for a few days before and after ovulation. Take 2 teaspoons 3 times a day. This stuff definitely works as I tried it last month and it did increase ewcm. I used a cough bottle called Robitussin(red box for chesty coughs). This contains the ingredient guaiphenesin, and you can buy it over the counter. Just make sure you get the right one as Robitussin manufacture a few cough bottles, and some have extra ingredients that can cancel out the effect. hope this helps"

DEFINITELY read Weschler's book. It tells you everything you want to know about how women work and how to conceive when you want to, or not conceive when you don't want to. It's brilliant, takes so much of the anxiety away. If it works for me (I started following the book's advice only 3 days ago), I swear that for the rest of the year I'll wear a T-shirt that will say 'WOMEN OF THE WORLD, READ THIS BOOK' !

I'm hoping to get the 'Taking charge of your fertility' book this weekend, i think it's something like £17.99, but i bet you can find it cheeper on the net somewhere!

Piffle · 22/08/2006 17:32

WEschlers book, it tells you how when and why
I got it, 2 mths later - pregnant after 3 yrs of trying.
Worth the money, then you can sell it on to another mumsnetter afterwards

BonyM · 22/08/2006 17:33

Yep - every woman in the world should read that book. It's fab.

Babymad4num3 · 22/08/2006 17:34
