Question about ovulation pain

Hey

Just wondering if anyone else gets this? I have awful pains (worse than AF) usually for around 3 days. My question is... Does anyone have any idea which day ovulation is likely to occur. Do you think it's likely the pain occurs before or after ov? I'm thinking before but really have no idea. Thanks

Yes, I get the same pains too, although usually only for 2 days and mostly on the left side, which seems to always win!.

I am just as in the dark as you on when exact ovulation happens-do we ever know though?! I tend to count it from the first day I get pains (and usually get positive OPK day before). It is horrid to get the pains but at the same time, nice to know something is happening. When I didn't get the pains when I normally do last cycle, I really missed them and felt happy when they finally did arrive. Grin

Thank you, that is really interesting about the opk's as I've never used them. Yes a very reassuring feeling if nothing else :)

Mine usually starts around 1-2 days after I get a +opk, so just around or shortly after ovulation I think.

Ooh interesting, thanks!
