I have 2 DSs already and am just starting to try for another baby.I am not getting any periods at all at moment. I have performed an ovulation test every day over the past week. This morning it has come up as yes - I am ovulating. On the packet (clear blue) it says that when it comes up positive, the egg will be released 24-48 hours after. When should I actually have sex? Now for the next few days? Also, will I definetely get another DS if I have sex bang on ovulation time?

Hope someone can help

Love your name busty.

Have sex from today, tomorrow and the day after at least. Definitely today though so the sperm is in place.

You won't definitely even get pregnant though, let alone have a ds, if you have sex bang on ovulation time. But the story is that the XY (boy) sperm are quicker and live for a shorter time, so you can just do your best.

mmm....so I guess if I have sex a few days leading up to ovulation, maybe the odds could swing for a DD. I realise I may not get preg. by the way - I put that the wrong way

Hi Busty (love the name too). My understanding is the same as Rubles, that the longer before ov you BD, the more likely the baby is to be a girl if you conceive.
