Question about AF

AF arrived a few days ago but I'm struggling to work out what I should count as CD1!

First sign was late Saturday night/very early Sunday morning - had some bright red blood when I went to the loo just before going to bed. But then Sunday and Monday I only had a small amount of dark brown spotting. Yesterday and today have been more like my usual AF.

Would you count Sunday as CD1 or should it be yesterday as that's when AF arrived "properly"?

It's only my second AF since coming off the pill (excluding withdrawal bleed) so I'm still getting the hang of my cycle and trying to keep track.

Please help - I'm so confused!!

So what was the earlier bleeding/spotting all about? Should I be worried or is that normal?

Some get spotting always, some spot sometimes, lots don't - nothing to worry about. Just your body getting overexcited!
