Help advice needed !! :(

So me and my partner are trying for a baby. I came off the pill in December and had 3 normal periods. Then I haven't come on for 8 weeks but had negative test, so I went to the nurse as I was so confused. The nurse was very rude and I really felt like I was being judged as I'm only 21. But I have been with him for 6 years and we have a lovely home and good jobs. I read so many things online about low hormone levels can mean negative tests but the nurse refused to test me and told me there was no pill to make me come on? All I want to know is it still possible to be pregnant and if not can you get pregnant if your periods have stopped !! Please help me as I have never done this before ?

I feel your pain, I'm in a similar situation (although not as late) and feel in total confusion with my body so would be interested in hearing from anyone else too!

I'm nearly 3 weeks late... Well I say late. At 7 days late I started bleeding, already had doctors app booked for that day and doc who was previously a mid wife said I'd either just come on late or it was a very early mc. Then it stopped after about 6 hours and nothing. It was nothing like AF! I'd been having lots of symptoms which lessened prior to this but still very much exist including horrendous boob pain and dizziness. All of this and no Bfp!
No idea when I'd actually be due now so playing a waiting game and avoiding the doctors in fear of just being told to see what happens.

I have read quite a few stories similar on here where it didn't show up until a blood test. Have you had any symptoms at all?

Ahh sorry I'm 5 weeks late but it been 8 weeks ish since my last period! well I have had dizziness and felt sick, bloated, getting more spots than normal but I don't know if it is all in my head I'm not rushing and I've always said if it happens it happens but I just need to know !

I know the blood test is what I was hoping the nurse would tell me to do! I've heard it's quite common from reading on the internet !

I would just keep testing, but they are expensive specially the named brands

It is very frustrating, knowing either way would be so much easier wouldn't it!

Could you try a different nurse/ doctor? I know you'll be worried they say the same though which is more frustrating. I've bought cheaply tests and just did two for ones when I thought it would show up. Totally given up testing now and going to wait to see if AF arrives this months but have a possible 3 weeks to wait if I go by my last bleed :/

Well I hope we both can find out soon, just to give peace of mind .. Never knew it would be so frustrating ! Yeah I think I might go buy some cheap ones to just test on and then buy the recommended brands if I have any signs of pregnancy on the cheap ones. I really want to have a second opinion by another nurse/doctor but I'm easily embarrassed so I couldn't bring myself to go back in case the original nurse saw me again! That really stupid I know but I hate to complain ... I think I might do another test next week and see where that leads me ! Keep me updated with how it goes I'll keep my fingers crossed you get the results your looking for and if we don't we will just have to keep trying ... After all having a lot of sex isn't a bad thing!

I'm definitely not pregnant as had my very usual ovulation pains and there is no mistaking them!! At least I know where I am though. It weirds me out that our body suddenly gives off loads of symptoms when we ttc. I have never had such painful boobs in my life!!

I hope you have some good news very soon :)

I would go to the GP (not a nurse) and ask for a blood test. If I were you I'd also be putting in a complaint about the nurse's attitude!
