So I couldn't find a May thread, so I thought I'd start one for all of us who have dropped off the April thread.

Aunty arrived this morning so I 've just started cycle 4. TTC #2. Just had a long cycle so if this is the same length my most fertile time will be over Easter weekend.

So I might go all pagan and invoke some Spring fertility goddess. Or something. Or piss on some sticks.

Kurama, sorry for lack of scrolling to hunt them down, but what are your stats? How long have you taken clomid? How are you finding it? I thought I might have to try it when I was having my 98 day cycle (I live in thailand where doctors will prescribe literally anything immediately)...

Here's a silly question, does the line on an OPK get darker the closer you get to ovulation?

Morning- officially on the TWW now- got my solid smiley face on Friday and have been following the SMEP plan- God I am knackered with all the B'ding lol- Husband works shifts so I have been staying awake until half 11 to get some action then having to get up just after 5. zzzzzzz

my stats are ttc#1 cycle 20 ish and bfp due 12may. this is my 3rd month of clomid. the 1st month cyst ruptured after having pains on cd16-18 went on day 19. 2nd month I thought same thing was happening but just had the pain from cd 16 to af 2 weeks later. I had 8 flashy smileys last month then ran ouy of sticks. this month blank on cd8/9 solid on cd10 and flashy since then. kept testing in case its a false positive.

my problems are rare apparently and prob happened coz I wasnt ovulating. weve been ttc for 2 years but with pcos and arthritis it just hasnt happened yet but I have a good feeling about this month sorry for long post lol

yes the line is suppost to get darker. its suppost to match the control line or be darker for ov to occur

My mum always drummed it into me never to ask that question. It's only really since TTC that I've realised why. But every other bugger in the world seems to think it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask Sometimes I'm tempted to answer with the truth and a long explanation of how long it's taking me to conceive and just how angsty it's making me!

Toots - it is so annoying!! Zebras your mum was right. Frankly it also takes away from a future happy announcement if everyone's been asking you when it's happening! Luckily I'm out of the UK and away from all my usual nosy people in Thailand so I have escaped the worst of it

I'm trying to have less contact on the boards as I get so bloody obsessive but just popping in to see what's happening.

I love the disgusting words game! I usually have loads but can't think of any now...

In other news, we are TTC less intensely than before. I am only temping to make sure I ov. We only DTD 3 times this cycle. I had AF cramps, nausea and very light spotting yesterday at 4DPO and a temp drop today at 5DPO. So, as you can see, despite not trying very hard, I am now symptom-spotting like mad! Stupidly I have read experiences online of people getting a BFP after spotting at 4DPO.

I have been to my GP about my endometriosis symptoms (which could explain the spotting and cramps...ugh) and am having swabs this week. Then I'll be back to the gynaecologist.

Hope you are all less mental doing better than me! I feel like a nutcase, lol.

Missmrs really sympathise completely with the endo, it's the pits isn't it!

Afternoon ladies

So I had a week of sex planned as its my fertile week.

However I have just been to the toilet and for some reason ive been bleeding (which I hadnt realised) pretty red in colour.

Ive had cramps this morning but I figured this was down to ovulation.

Now i dont know whats going on grrrr.

Yes Mrs. Was suspected to have it 10 years ago but think contraception since then has kept it under control. Now it seems to be back! Have you had any treatment?

Just caught up on a couple of pages of posts as not had a chance to look over the weekend! Busy busy.....5dpo here and starting to symptom spot. Feel a wee bit nauseous at the moment and had some twinges of cramps....also a lot of milky CM and feeling bloated....surely this means I am preggo lol!! DH is worse than me......he is convinced I am preggo this month since we DTD at the right time. I told him not to get his hopes up! Hope you all had a good/productive weekend. I hate Mondays! Need some !

Hi Mel I'm also 5DPO with the same symptoms (including needing wine - got some chilling in the fridge - what time is it acceptable to open?!) fx for you.

Yes I had laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and laser treatment as most of the endo is down the back of my womb on the outside. I also have one ovary a bit compromised as a large blood vessel is running in front of it. I always get more pain on the left.

I'm exceptionally lucky really, reason being I had my first very young at 18, then bf for 15 mts while conceiving dd at 20, then bf for another year. Then a year after that conceived ds2 and another year of breast feeding. All of which took me up until I was 24, major pain kicked in at 26. The pg and the bf kept everything at bay. It's been hard going for about 8 years, with some treatment in between. I have managed to conceive during that time too as had ds3 at 27 followed by ops at 28 then mcs at 28&29 the finally got ds4 at 31. I think the pain affects dtd a lot tbh. I'm only one week of the month without pain entirely. I've been extremely lucky to have had vaginal births and having the first 3 in quick succession warded off the endo.

My dsis was on the pill until she was 27, had ds at 28 emergency c section. They waited a year as they were told it was safest to wait after C section. She wishes she hadn't as from that point it created huge scar tissue that endo loves and she had masses of ops to try and clear it. Her tubes are kinked and cysts on both ovaries that size of grape fruits. Ivf was an option for them but not a route they chose to go down. So they have just the one.

I have medication to manage the bleeding and strong pain killers for when it's horrendous. I could bleed for Britain I think sometimes. It's not all bad news. My cousin also has endo and after a dairy and gluten free diet she managed to get the endo under control. They will probably do an internal scan but if they can't see anything on that doesn't mean it's not there. Mine is at the back right on my bowel so I get bad back ache and constipated when it all flares up. But it's not hugely obvious on the scan. Saying that I haven't had a scan for ages so who knows. Lol

Best of luck it's not all bad news finding out if there's something the matter it just means you might be able to manage it a bit better. When I'm more physically active my symptoms improve a lot. Certain things can help different people. You'd be amazed how common it is.

Spinning - we live in Bangkok which is pretty good as hectic, hot asian metropolises go, but would be much better to be living in 'holiday thailand'!! The good thing is we can travel loads at the weekends - 30 mins to the airport, and air asia is like our Ryanair, super cheap and a big network, so usually go away every fortnight to an island somewhere!! Have been to tons of them now so let me know if you want any tips! Where did you go last time? Any fave places..? X x

Hi all! 1 dpo here... Am I pregnant yet?!! This 2ww is feeling far too long already

English have you been temping long? Was just wanting to ask you if you knew what a second rise could mean? You said my chart looked like I ov'd on cd17 so I'd be 6dpo now and yesterday my temp shot up and came back down again today. Or do you know any good sites where I could get more info on charting?

Also my stats have changed a bit, ovulated a few days earlier than expected this month so BFPs now due 10th May! Anyone else due that day?! Or anyone else 1 or 2 days dpo? We can spur each other on and symptom spot haha

I'm 3 DPO hanflan! Have developed a cracking headache this afternoon for no reason whatsoever. Haven't had a headache with no hangover to blame it on in months!! Symptom?!!!
