Hi ladies. I haven't had chance to catch up this morning but I thought I'd fill you all in..... I decided not to poas this am and ran straight to the loo and flushed my fmu so glad I did I've just had a text to say the mummy to be has gone into labour so the shower is cancelled. I call that divine intervention

MrsExtraOrdinary · 06/04/2014 11:32

Oh poly you've been saved! WinkThanks So are you going to poas tomorrow instead?

PolytheneGirl · 06/04/2014 11:35

Chocoroc yay another T1!!! I'm overly excited to welcome you to the bus!! GrinGrin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/04/2014 11:42

Definitely divine intervention Poly! When do plan to poas now?

PolytheneGirl · 06/04/2014 11:53

Just had a catch up. So much going on.

kitty well done for holding to together at the wedding. DH would have probably felt my handbag making contact with the back of his head if he'd have been rubbing bumps. I kinda cute tho

MrsE I hope you have a lovely break. I love that part of the country.

Linda glad your all feeling a bit better. What is going on with AF? bitch

Hi Made sorry you are finding it tougher than you thought. My first was exactly the same and I thought it would be easy second time too! You live and learn! Good luck.

Kumara Oh No! The curse of the baby shower!!

English am I allowed to laugh? So you're one of those crazy cyclist that tries their best to kill me everytime I'm in Amsterdam!

I will try my best not to poas till Thursday when AF is due, I don't have my friend baby to look after and DH has the day off I'll probably give in on Tuesday!

bellaboo88 · 06/04/2014 12:03

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/04/2014 12:09

Yes...Laugh away Poly, I found it hilarious!! I'm not so ruthless as the dutch, much more tolerant of the pedestrians!!

Wow, Bella, you are keen! Lol! I don't think I could buy anything until i'm passed the first scan!! Great Bargains though!!

PolytheneGirl · 06/04/2014 12:17

English I always, always fall over when I'm drunk, I'm known for it. It's always funny at the time but sometimes just embarrassing after. I've had some cracking bruises!

Treaclepie19 · 06/04/2014 12:33

Hehe poor English!
I fall over constantly so drunk is just a nightmare.

So glad you were saved Poly :)

Excited about my solid smiley, even if it does mean af will be late and i will have to think about whether or not to poas over the first week of my holiday annndd my due date would be later. I dont care really, glad i got that peak!
:)

lindamagoo · 06/04/2014 12:44

Haha English, sorry shouldn't laugh but couldn't help it. Hope you're not hurt too bad Smile When we get married we are having a joint stag/hen do in Amsterdam, having a 50's theme cause the dresses are amazing so please don't knock me down Grin

victoria401 · 06/04/2014 12:45

Morning ladies :-)

I went to a baby shower last summer and it was kinda sweet actually. It was a girl at works one (not who we would have expected 'to be next', product of a fling and now more or less single mom Sad bless her). We had a load of fun party games including bringing in baby pics of ourselves and guessing who was who and guessing 'the nappy contents'! Mashed up food, like choc and banana in nappies and then writing what we thought it was, kinda gross but hilarious looking at people faces as they were scraping out a nappy with a spoon!

I'm off to Dorset next month Mrs E got a caravan for the week and its during my next predicted fertile week presuming I don't catch this month so nice stress free relaxing time with DH :-) Hope the weather brightens up for you!

Linda maybe you being poorly and stress of caring for others has scared af away for a bit. Hope she puts you out of misery soon so you can make a fresh start.

Bella I've been tempted to buy stuff myself but DH thinks I'm crazy and tempting fate. This ttc lark is turning me into a mad woman though. Hope you'll be getting it back down from the loft soon! Our current office/dumping ground would have to be the nursery and I already want to clear it out and paint it yellow from hideous cold minty green. DH is panicked about where his precious computer is going to go. Not my problem. I'm hoping if we had a bab he wouldn't need to play his silly shoot em up games any more, far too busy!

Have a good Sunday whatever you're up to.

KittyVonCatsington · 06/04/2014 12:57

I fall over constantly so drunk is just a nightmare

Ha ha -reminds me of DH last night-mixture of drink and exhaustion from 4 days Duke of Edinburgh expedition with school and he was falling about all over the place! Was trying to help him undress when one of our cats shot past to jump on the bed-DH promptly fell straight over-trousers around his ankles Grin. Not sure if he'll remember that one so might have to remind him Wink when he wakes up Hmm

I second the 'Devine intervention' Poly -so pleased for you (and your friend obviously but in a different way!)

Glad you got your positive, Treacle - better make sure there's some spermies waiting!!!!!

lindamagoo · 06/04/2014 13:09

I must be the only person that doesn't really fall when pissed, not so clever at the sober walking though, very clumsy, lol

Treaclepie19 · 06/04/2014 13:13

Haha Kitty, definitely remind him!
We dtd friday and will again today. Really got my fingers crossed.

Think my luteal phase is only 9/10 days though. Not sure if I should be worrying about that.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/04/2014 13:15

If I see a bunch of people in 50s attire I'll give you a wave! If you want any bar/restaurant ideas pm me. Some really cool places here.

Giggling at your DH Kitty! Bet he has a sore head when he awakes!
I very rarely see my DH drunk, he seems to save it for boys nights when he gets wasted and I don't see him til early afternoon!

spinningirl10 · 06/04/2014 13:19

Treacle....yay for solid smiley at last Grin

Oops English, bet that was a funny sight!

KittyVonCatsington · 06/04/2014 13:28

DTD for a couple more days too Treacle-just in case you ovulate in the next 36 hours rather than 24. Don't worry about anything yet with regards the the LP-it may have no difference as 10 days plus is considered fine by Doctors.

Getting bored waiting for DH to wake up...

MrsExtraOrdinary · 06/04/2014 13:36

Victoria I'm very lucky as my parents own a caravan at the cliffs at durdle door. I've been going continuously since I was 16. It's gorgeous! When the kids were little we used to pack them all in but it's a bit of a squeeze now as they are so bloody big, arms and legs everywhere! Even though the caravan is huge. So I shall visit my friend Abbas giant and take a picture for you all to have a giggle about.

When I was 17, with parents tucked up in bed. I jumped out the window to go and get drunk with my friends on the beach. I then had to figure out how to get back in. Basically scraped my whole tummy, on the window ledge. They never found out. Was so worried I was going to pull my piercing out, that they also didn't know about. I love going there it reminds me of being young and free without a care in the world. Grin hoping dd doesn't turn out like her mother obviously!

Timetogo1 · 06/04/2014 14:11

Hi all, I'm sorry I follow the boards but am so busy at the mo don't have a lot of time to post.

stats Timetogo1 ttc #1 cycle #6 bfp due somewhere between 9th and 11th April.

I am driving myself crazy symptom spotting and peeing on sticks sometimes twice a day - the stick habit is getting expensive

Sometimes I wish I could just turn my brain off and forget about it. I'm find when AF comes, for some reason I can deal with that just thinking everything is a symptom.

This month, very tired, stuffy nose, upset stomach that's about it. Anyone else due BFP this week with any symptoms? Poly?

Any advice on how to stop symptom spotting?

Treaclepie19 · 06/04/2014 14:22

Thanks spinning and kitty we will continue dtd, getting a bit tired now though! :p

Managed it today, though we'd better get it in now as I will be too tired after we get back from visiting DH's mom at hospital tonight.

So far dtd cd6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 19. Shall keep going!

lindamagoo · 06/04/2014 14:29

Welcome Time but I'm sorry to say there is no advice about stopping symptom spotting, it can't be done Grin

Treacle that's some amount of sexy time, you will be glad to get a break Smile

In other news, AF has arrived so it was just a wee 30 day cycle, not too bad at all. Having a little drinky poo's today now, didn't want to last night until I new af was coming...

Treaclepie19 · 06/04/2014 14:31

I definitely will linda haha.

Sorry to hear af has arrived, glad your cycle wasn't too long though :)

lindamagoo · 06/04/2014 14:39

I'm a little glad af arrived, after the week I've had I NEED lots of Wine.

LemonDrizzler · 06/04/2014 15:16

Spotti you've convinced me - will get working on dh!! I love labs - they're so sweet.

LemonDrizzler · 06/04/2014 15:17

Linda sorry about AF. :(
