Me too... I only ever have a 25 day cycle... so not due til next tues... I am tempted to test now but dont think I could handle the disappointment... gonna try and hold off til I am late... Movig house this weekend so that will hopefully keep my mind off things... If you are convinced then IMO doing a test wont do any harm but you probably are best off waiting... so best avaiod all chemists and supermarkets until next week!!

I also am not sure - what are your symptons? I'm not sure whether I am imagining mine as I want to be pregnant!

geordiemacminx · 18/08/2006 16:07

Really tired, usually falling asleep on the sofa around eight for an hour, going to bed at 10 and sleeping til 8.. rubbish skin, weeing a lot. sore boobs.... but like you say when you want to be pregnant so much its easy to imagine all of those "symptoms"... still only another week til I can test

Oh good luck to you! I haven't so much felt any more tired than usual (I am always tired anyway), but have noticed weeing more and a period type pain, and I don't usually get any pain at all. Another week to go for me to.

I did a test early - was due on Boxing Day and tested Xmas Eve, so only 2 days early, the thin blue line showed up, but only very faintly - we had to hold it up to the light to see it! I think it is possible to get a negative result that early but actually to be pregnant, depends on the levels of hormone you're producing, while it isn't possible to get a positive result that's wrong. So it can work, but you might have disappointment testing early, but actually be pregnant and it not show on the test until later...

Good luck - hope you're all positive!

Hi there, I'm new to mumsnet and have loved reading everyones conversations! I'm also trying for No.3 with 5 & 3year old girls now. I've got to wait until next weeekend to find out if this months the 'one'. Doesn't the month go by sooooo slowly when you're trying! I'll follow this tread next week and hopefully hear if anyone's been successful. Good luck.

I want to know when to test really as i'm not having any AF due to breastfeeding. We have only been TTC for 9 days so i know its really early, but ive had a few sympoms already,as i did with dd2 after only 10 days of TTc but i was having AF then so could test when it didnt show 2 1/2 weeks later. Should i wait till we have been TTC for four weeks before testing? Or coud i test this WEd after only 2 weeks?
