Breakthrough bleed/late implantation bleed/nothing at all!?

So on the 22nd, the day before af was due (sorry if tmi) when I wiped there was the tiniest bit of blood. Like literally just a few dots of pinky red blood on the tissue. I assumed af was on it's way but it never came and now I'm 4 days late.
I tested on Monday but bfn :( but still no sign of af so what was it!?

Have you plucked up the courage to test again? I've started with what sounds like the same type of spotting today but I'm 5 days late. Really don't know what's happening but booked to see Dr on Friday! I'm considering testing in the morning but feel it will be a waste of my last test.

Not since Monday, I don't think I can deal with another bfns :(
(You can tell by all the threads I'm starting that I'm desperate haha)
I'm going to the doctors Friday as well! Sod's law I bet af will show up tomorrow or just after doctors app x

What other symptoms are you having now? I'm going to be gutted if AF turns up now, if it does I will never ever trust my body again lol

Just very sore boobs, no doubt about that! Not so bad when you don't touch them but very sore when you feel them. Nipples seem darker and boobs look subtansially vanier (ew lol!) but I'm not sure if I'm imagining those last two symptoms.
Also I've been having what feels like very mild period pains for several days, but i keep convincing myself it's as coming!

I'm 5 days late. You sound exactly as I am. At first I thought maybe I'm just convincing myself my boobs hurt but they are actually agony! As soon as I get home bra is off and hot water bottle is on lol.

Oh no that sucks, I'm tempted too as well but I know I shouldn't. My mum was telling me she didn't get her bfp till she was two weeks late

Oh really? That's promising! I know from on here that it's possible it's just so disheartening because we want to know either way! Grrrr.

Don't be deflated some people don't get a positive for weeks! It's hard but try to stay positive

It's difficult to not be disappointed, I was so sure I was going to get a positive, even let myself have a think about names (so foolish of me I know) :( but thank you x
