Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

As an hsg is an x ray there is a risk to a foetus from radiation from the x ray equipment. It has very little to do with the dye or how "comfy" a baby could be in it

The risk is small, but IMHO it isn't worth taking the risk

Oh, and as far as infection is concerned, if you take the antibiotics then the risk is negligible.

I'm really quite worried that they chose to talk about a fucking infection risk rather than a radiation risk.

lil the aim is definitely to do a transfer this month if the embryos cooperate! Mine tend to grow slowly though so I will not be surprised if we end up freezing again.

You know, I hadn't noticed until you said it how blessedly baby free my clinic is. No pictures of babies anywhere. It is probably a very good thing.

The hsg risk to a fetus is definitely from the radiation, as fox said. I did mine back in the fall. (The hsg sucked but you will be fine!)

I am in the waiting room right now and will soon be out in my amazing hospital garb to await the retrieval. Nervous!

I'm going by the made up by me theory this means I have been extra fertile this month (I would need to be as we've only done it 3 times). Honestly I am such a private person in RL. This kind of oversharing scares me!!

So is your contraband basically like a pee stick which tells you when you're fertile?
