The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

I am feeling a bit frustrated and it's only my first month TTC post mc (I took the pill for a month straight after).
Initially my body seemed to respond normally, I had EWCM on D14, 15 and 16, but no temperature rise yet (on D19 now). Don't know what to think....
Not managing to keep up TTC every other day, either...

I think others have said it too, but one of the things that makes me angry about the whole MC, is not only the major hearbreak of losing a pregnancy, but also that it's now never going to be the same. Even TTC has lost's its innocence and carelessness.

tanny I shall defo be here in the summer as I we have decided to shelve ttc until we move house. We will be putting ours on the market next week and really hope to be moved by September-ish. Which means I will very probably not be upduffed by 12th, my due date, but if I've got a new house to keep me busy, in a beaut village, I reckon I will be more relaxed and ready for bfp whenever it happens. Hope it's ok if I hang around/lurk with you ladies though?

Hope it's the most boring thing either of you do for the next 9 months!

I've been lurking as feel a bit of a fraud now there's possibly an actual baby inside me Not joined any pregnancy boards yet. Started spotting last Sunday and had a massive panic, running out of work and everything! Only ever Brown though and pretty much stopped now. GP got me booked into EPU for early scan at 6 weeks on Monday. Not accepting the pregnancy unless there's a viable blob come Monday really.

I agree with PP, no more pregnancy innocence here, up may be pregnant but I'm not envisioning a baby at the end if it yet!

MissH no need to lurk. Stick around and share all your worries here. We don't want to scare you away, and you're in a frightening place of early days post mc. Hope your scan goes well on Monday. Let us know how you get on...

Wow congrats Boba and Lacey!!! Brilliant news. The rule is now that BFPs for this thread come in groupings of at least two, preferably more . Wishing you both the most boring, textbook pregnancies ever.

MissH good luck with the scan - I can only imagine at the moment how scary it must be to be pg after an mc (it was terrifying enough before), but hopefully you will get some reassurance next week.

Oh English that is so shit. If it makes you feel better you can get textbook peaks on the monitor, have sex at the right time and still not get pregnant . So don't feel like your body is crap. Keep taking your temps and monitoring your cm and it will probably tell you more than the CBFM.

Well TITH 1 completed . Would be great if it was our month but unfortunately my optimism disappeared an awfully long time ago.

Well I got my smiley on the CB and a clear-as-day +ive on the IC as well! In fact it's the same as the last cycle I got pregnant, so I will be jumping on DH again tonight and then hoping for a repeat performance (though obviously with a better long-term outcome this time...).

Looks like we really can be tww and poas buddies this month sebs!

I'm tempted to try going on bc for a cycle to see if it can kick start things... Anyone know if I can do that despite not having AF? I have microgynon and you're supposed to start it on cd1.

English you can start taking the pill at any time within your cycle but I wonder if it would be better just to quit any supplements and wait.

I think we forget that herbal supplements can be bloody potent and are the key ingredient of many prescription medicines. I kept umming and ahhhing about taking stuff to help withTTC but ended up just taking a prenatal multivitamin and a liquid supplement with iron in it just incase all the bleeding from my mc had made me low. Then I left things alone.

I would hate for you to start messing around with things and put yourself back again. I know it is incredibly frustrating when you are stuck in limbo, have been there very recently myself, but your AF will arrive I promise you.

I had a short luteal phase prior to having DS2 (it's been mostly 'normal' since then), but Vitex messed it up more (delayed ov, but did nothing for luteal phase), Soy worked for me (in so much as I got a bfp off it, then mc), so hope you can work out what's best for you English

I think you're right... I'm taking epo, vitex and maca. Gonna ditch it all and just stick with my pregnacare. Think I just needed someone else to tell me to stop! At least that way of I do end up having tests, the results will be true. My name is English and I'm ditching the supplements!

tanny I am doing ok :) just had a rough couple of weeks with DH, always seems worse than it is doesn't it? Trying to be positive and looking forward to 2 weeks off, then starting a whole new challenge with this new job after Easter, plus my mums coming bank hol weekend :) can't wait! She really gets it...I love her!
