Pregnancy & implanon

Hey ladies.
I'm 17, very scared so no judging please.
I just want to do what's best
Today is the 23/3 and my last period was the 25/2. I'm always regular. I had unprotected sex roughly two weeks after the last day of my period, then a week after that, I had the implant inserted.
My gp did a urine test before inserting it and it was neg (obliviously couldn't have been accurate only a week after) but anyway it's been in just coming up two weeks. I've vomited 2 out of nowhere, very bad mood swings, fatigued. & on and off very sore nips!!
Decided to start this thread because I'm feeling very nauseas this evening. I can't even rely on my period coming because it's probably going to be off any way!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated xxxx

You need to do a pregnancy test.

A test is the only way to find out I'm afraid!

I would say go back to your doctor as I'm unsure how effective pregnancy tests are with the implant, did you mention at the time you had had unprotected sex about a week before?? and if so what did they recommend you do??

the implant has a lot of different side effects in different people though.

Do you think it's me overreacting? Or should I definitely have some concern?

I told them I had sex a week before so they did the urine test
My gp isn't back till Wednesday
I've read some awful stuff online about miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy with the implanon. So worried if I am pregnant, I just would want my baby as healthy as I could make it

When I was wanting to go in the implant after having bleed off contraception for a month my gp wouldn't give me it until I had a natural period and so she knew I wasn't pregnant

However in this time I fell pregnant!

I would be suprised they gave it you knowing you could be pregnant

Been off not bleed off

And injection not implant

Jesus I need more sleep

Op I would try taking a home test and see any gp at your surgery or even the nurse ASAP

Im new to this i wanna no ladie if you can get pregnunt on the implant iv just had the implant fited in and i do not wanna become pregnunt agen i had trubal with my last pregnuntcie that i nearly lost my baby he was very poorly he was over due the doctors broke my water and i felt everthing what happend to me i was streas the baby was streaa in the end i had to have a c. Section to hurry up and get my baby out he swolloed abit of his poo and wee and had a infection and stay in hospital for 12weeks i was soo worryied that i would lose him .

No contraception is 100%

Perhaps use a second method as back up if a pregnancy would be that bad for you

Do you think it's dangerous? Maybe I should go to the emergency room

I don't really know what the emergency room would do for you tbh

I think you should buy a home test

I've not had the implant but I know with the injection there is no known proven affects on a foetus and I seem to think they contain the same things

OP I know you perhaps don't want to test but it will give you an answer. I would follow this up with a GP visit. good luck.
