TTC, period due last weds, had v faint bfps thurs-sun, started bleeding yesterday, advice please

I think it is very early miscarriage. Should I still see GP or is there no point? Advice gratefully received if you've been in same position.

So odd, feel fake claiming it is even a miscarriage as bfps were faint and I would only be 4+5 but guess that still counts.

is it bright red blood or pinkish brown?

Just wanted to offer sympathy. Exactly the same thing happened to me in Feb - faint bfps after period was due, then started bleeding at 5 weeks. I didn't see GP as I figured there was nothing they could do. I would have gone if I was worried there was an infection or the miscarriage was incomplete. I did see them in connection with something else though and told them and they offered to sign me off work if I needed mental recovery time so if you feel you might need that it would be worth going.

Thanks for the replies. It's bright red with lots of clots. Had thought about doing more tests but seems fairly pointless.

Sorry same thing happened to you wednesbury. I also figured nothing they can do but wondered re getting it on my records in case of further issues. I'm ok emotionally, bit weepy so think may take day or two off. Just feels like very odd no man's land.

It's horrible isn't it. I felt absolutely gutted even though I knew something wasn't right when the lines on the tests got fainter. If you can take time off do.
