Spotti I watched obem on 4od last night. The adverts weren't too long either Smile

PolytheneGirl · 01/04/2014 10:17

I'm ok thanks Linda I'm just having a tough morning and I've got a gippy tummy. Just not been feeling quite myself for a few days!

PolytheneGirl · 01/04/2014 10:19

Oh and next door are having new windows fitted and the banging is driving me insane!

And I'm looking after my friends baby and he's grumpy and snotty too!

I could moan all day!

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 10:26

I'm still in a crap mood Poly, made worse by the fact that some local teenagers have gone and bought themselves a dirt bike and think it's cool to rev it up and drive about like nutters right outside my house until almost 12 last night then again at just after 7 this morning, grrrrrrrrrrrr AngryAngryAngry Rant over Smile

PolytheneGirl · 01/04/2014 10:43

Oh dear Linda we are a right jolly pair! My brother had a go at me on Sunday for being too grumpy and told me he's going to get me some weed! Cheeky git!

I'm not normally like this!

I hope those idiots sod right off! I'd call the police if they're driving on the road.

Guiltismymaster · 01/04/2014 10:49

linda it's 4th, same as you. I'm going away for the weekend on a hen do (possibly alcohol free- yipee) Friday so will test the day before. DP is desperate to be there when I do it. I did want it to be a surprise but if that's what he wants.

Also I sympathise with your dirt-biker problem. I've called the police a couple of times.

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 11:09

lol poly, maybe weed would do the trick Smile my oh keeps asking if I need wine, lol, he knows me so well Smile
It's not even a road the boys are driving on it's so much worse, there's a big field, a children's play park and the primary school at my front door and that's where they are on the bike, if I see them out there at any point when there's kids or dog walkers out I won't hesitate to call the police

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 11:10

Oh guilt how great would it be to have an alcohol free weekend cause you got a BFP, fingers crossed Smile

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 11:15

Forgot to say that the doctor was out at my 4 year old yesterday as he's been so poorly and not ate since Thu, turns out he has tonsillitis Hmm poor wee man, anyway I asked her if there would be any risks if I was to get pregnant just now and she said no but I might possibly bleed a bit throughout the pregnancy due to the condition of my uterus but they'd just give me extra scans to make sure everything was ok Smile

PolytheneGirl · 01/04/2014 11:23

LindaAww your poor DS. I hope he feels better soon. Good news from the doc for you though. Something to be happy about!

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 11:25

And yet I'm still a bad tempered moo, lol

cth1982 · 01/04/2014 11:41

Hey gennibugs looks like we have exactly the same stats - welcome to the board!

Guiltismymaster · 01/04/2014 11:47

linda I think you might live on my street!

I hope you do so it's not just me, Mrs busybody calling the police complaining about the fact they're riding round next to the primary school/kids/dog walkers/park/field.

Best of luck with your BFP, it sounds promising for you, but as we know, you never know. Wine at the ready just in case. This weekend will go one of two ways...

lindamagoo · 01/04/2014 12:03

Lol Guilt wouldn't that be funny if we turned out to be neighbours Grin

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 12:28

Just read in the mail online that a girl of 20 was rushed into hospital with stomach pains and gave birth 30mins later to a baby boy!
She didn't know she was pregnant, had worn her size 10 clothes throughout and had periods!!

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 12:32

I'm really fed up, I've fallen out with my bf and we're supposed to be going out later to a work thing of his and having a few drinks. We've been looking forward to it for ages as we don't go out too often. I asked him if I could still go and he said do what you want but don't expect me to be normal with you so I've told him he'll probably have more fun on his own. I wanted him to say of course you should come :(

Treaclepie19 · 01/04/2014 12:32

Oh Spinning dont say that!!! :p

Ugh I am tired. I will be soooooo tired by the weekend. We may not manage dtd every day over fertile period if i keep getting flashing smileys.

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 12:41

Oh spinning

Maybe speak to him again later? Do you want to go?

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 12:47

thanks ladies, yes I really want to go and he knows that, we always have such a laugh when we all go out and my Mum is having my little one from school pick up and overnight. He's gone for a sleep as he worked late last night so I'm hoping he'll wake up happier!

Treaclepie19 · 01/04/2014 12:49

Also I hadn't read your second message! I need to reply slower.

Oh Spinning :( Do you think he will calm down later?

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 12:51

I don't know treacle, everyone will wonder where I am as it's been planned for ages but if I go and he's not talking to me I'll probably have a few drinks and then cry!!!

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 12:53

As for the pregnant girl in the paper, just think, we could all be walking around pregnant and not even know! If only!!

Hazelbrowneyes · 01/04/2014 12:58

Then if you want to go, go. Honestly, I'm sure he'll loosen up. I know it's not very mumsnetty at all (I'd be shot down in flames for saying this on the relationships board) but I'd suck it up. I'd apologise for my part in the fall out, make him a cup of tea (if you're at home with him?) when he wakes up and give him a cuddle. Inside I'd probably still be raging but I've figured recently that life is too short to keep an argument going. Sometimes even when I've not done anything wrong, I'll make the first move to reconcile with DH just because I don't want to keep it going. I know he does the same because we're both bloomin stubborn sometimes

Does that make either one of us downtrodden? I don't think so. It's a case of realising that actually, sometimes it's just better to kiss, make up and move on.

Of course, I won't blame you if you want to tell me I'm talking bollocks Grin

spinningirl10 · 01/04/2014 13:06

Haha browneyes, I agree with you:)

It was my fault and I have apologised, we actually fell out yesterday morning and it's still no better but I will go and straighten my hair......I look like a crazy women right now and I will try and give him a cuddle when he wakes up and apologise again, thank you :)
