So... This mothers day I bought myself a box of opks!

First time user.... Says to start testing so many days in depending on cycle length. What if my cycles are different each month?

I think you are suppost to go by last months cycle in that case victoria we have dtd 5 days in a row now and I bet solid smiley will turn up on tues when dh is at work 7am-4pm and im working 4-9...... it is sods law after all

my mums out of hospital now and feeling a bit better now but what she has is hereditary and I already know I have the same thing... nothings happened yet tho. fx it doesn't hit me in future.

English soooooo jealous! I LOVE those guys. They are a band I've always wanted to see but they never seem to come to the UK apart from a one off a few years ago to the O2 in London and I was doing a bloody exam at uni that day...grr If they ever come back here then I'm going to see them. Don't care if I have to pull a sickie or travel miles and miles, I AM GOING next time they are here! (have a great time btw x)

I've had EWCM since Friday afternoon, seems to have gone now though. Didn't feel like DTD on Friday (might be kicking myself a bit in a few weeks about that) but we did yesterday OH thinks it was just for funsies , although he did comment about my cervix being really high up...TMI but he practically had to stick his whole finger up there in order to just about feel it and we might get on it again tonight, but I think after today it we will be JSing just for the hell of it! I'm trying not to keep count on which day I'm on but I think I'm somewhere around day 16, and potentially have about 3 weeks to wait before AF is due, so sex for fun might be a good way to pass the time... . That and finding something else to obsess about (possibly got a new foster doggy coming on Wednesday so she will keep me occupied :)).

So yeah, that's me.

Smiley face on my cb ov stick just now, DTD yesterday morning and today. Day dreaming of the romanticism of conceiving on Mother's Day. Would be a nice thing after the last rotten few months since mc!!!

So far dtd, cd6, 8, 10, 11 and will continue to dtd every day if we can until after peak. Then back to every other/every few days.

lol I had 3rd flashey smiley his morn but got what I think is ov pains this eve. started on left but on right as well we have dtd every day since wed and twice today and hopefully tomoro and wed lol then regardless off what cb digi says I think dh will need a rest! havnt done it this often since we first got together 5 years ago hope everyones ok todau xxx

I just don't understand how 4 years ago, when I was extremely stressed, on antidepressants, my marriage was on the rocks, we hardly dtd, we were using contraception and I had cysts on my ovaries we managed to conceive it was awful timing and now when I want it so bad, things are good and we are doing EVERYTHING we can, NOTHING!

I want this baby soooo much. I can't explain it very well but I already love this little one! Where are you little bean?

Oh Poly :( The world never doea seem fair :( Try to keep positive... I feel the same. My closest friend is 4 months pregnant and started ttc same time as us.

I so hope it is this month... I've had to drag myself off the kiddicare website looking at moses baskets and cots...

I'm a bit sad tonight. My eldest ds(15) is going to hosp in London tomorrow (routine) so staying at my mums tonight. He was at his dads all wkd so I've not seen him. He hasn't called to say happy Mother's Day. probably because my xh has convinced him it's a load of rubbish. Dh and my littlest ds had cards and flowers for me and lots of love, but I love all the dc the same and it's sad seeing everyone's fb posts about their amazing dc. My son couldn't be bothered with me today.

It's so hard watching your children walk out of your home every other wkd. It used to break me every time. I used to just wait for them to come back home. When I couldn't conceive last time with dh, I used to think I was being punished for a failed marriage the first time. I'm not sure why I felt like that, but I did.

Will be glad to see the back of march tomorrow, April is surely going to be full of happiness.

We ended up dtd just once yesterday afterall and then did it again first thing today. Decided it might be counter productive to do it too much. Really confused by the early positive opk though.

I know how much you ladies like to know how often me and the husband (aka Mr Sackasperm) are at it. :)

MrsE, that's naughty of your ex h to not get him to phone you, hopefully he'll come home today with a card for you. My eldest dd is 18 and I haven't seen her all weekend, she chose to spend yesterday with friends! I did get a text from her but I suspect my bf text her and reminded her.
My ds also goes to his Dad every other weekend and I feel exactly the same as you, it's been a year now that he's had regular contact and it never gets easier.....but we always have lovely cuddles when he comes home

Morning, I hope you all had fab weekends

I tested yesterday and of course, it was a BFN. I was only 9 or 10dpo though so I guessed it would be

I am, of course, symptom spotting. Breasts are unbelievably sore. I’m not having the same stretchy cramps I’ve had the last few months at this time either. Oh and I am exhausted. I fell asleep on the sofa at 9pm last night and then slept right through until 7.30 this morning. I could easily go back to bed now.

Err, that’s it but it’s different from the last few months so I’m holding onto everything I’ve got. I’m a little freaked that a BFP this month would mean I’d be due on my birthday but then I quickly have a word with myself to remind me that I want a baby and wouldn’t stop TTC for anything. I am wishing I’d used OPKs a bit earlier though!

Thanks ladies, yes indeed teenage boys are completely rubbish English, (mostly)! I'm not really on his radar at the moment. It's funny to think he was the tiny baby boy that refused ff was being bf for what felt like forever (15 mts), wouldn't sleep until he was 3, hid under my skirt, wouldn't speak to a soul, screamed blue murder if I left the room, is now all grown up and it's all so very different. It's probably good we do get that needy bit where you are the centre of their world, or else how would you bare teenage years
