Hi everyone. Sorry some are feeling jealous/down. I feel the same. I was sent a video of my cousin's baby today. One of my students got a new baby sister yesterday. I have no cm despite taking yucky cough syrup and drinking grapefruit. I feel so stressed and so unlike DTD it's unreal. Don't want to start too early and run out of steam. Mehh ;-(

So sometime only Nandos (I raised the average age by a good 10 years just by walking in) and a large glass of wine hits the spot. Despite not ttc last month, in my mind we are 'getting pregnant' so af was a surprise - shouldn't have been - daft really.

So by calculations (and a fancy app) I will be back in full dtd duties week beginning 7th (peak around 12th) with a bfp due 28th. I've not started to look at ovulation kits, so am not sure what smiley faces mean (assume peak fertility?) or cm etc - I need to do some homework.

I'm sorry to hear so many are having a tough time and hope we have a bumper crop of Christmas babies!

Notta - I am constantly speechless at the number of enquiries I get about my baby making ability! My Dh gets no such enquiries, but my fertility seems to be fair game. Three times in the last three days I have been asked about the 'pitter patter of tiny feet' to the blatant, 'why do you not have children' - people mean well I suppose

So cd 7 today, just started gewurztraminer cough syrup today to loosen up that cervical mucus for cd14 which is when I traditionally ovulate. Sorry I'm bring silly, I know it's called something else that starts with a G but nice chilled white wine is so much nicer. I'm on my last of my week of wine today until I get AF again or fingers crossed for another 39 weeks. Please please please penis dragon bless us all on this thread.

sorry everyone is feeling a bit down. Im the same and keep asking myself why im not pg yet. It sucks as we are totally ready and like poly keep seeing scan pics on Facebook!!!
keep telling myself our time will come!!

Will dtd tonight then symptom spot like mad for the next two-three weeks!!

Just to make things worse we didn't manage to dtd last night as DH was at work till midnight and even though I'd waited up for him, he came in in such a bad mood.

Hi ! Just poking my head in from the dwindling march board . Still officially on It (11 dpo and bfn) but expecting to join you guys any day now . I suppose my next BFP would then be due end of April . I'll give proper stats when AF shows ...might straddle the threads for a while . Ours is getting more quiet since only a few days left ...

Poly for the last few months I haven't had any flashing on the cb but gone from a circle to the solid ...

Re. Ovulation tests. I had resisted so far until this cycle, but have given in in ligjt of my inability to get an appointment with the GP. I bought the CB digital, but not advanced. So the ones that give you a circle or a face, no flashy!

I started cd7 (although the leaflet advised 8 i felt that could be late given my short cycle)

Cd7 - circle
Cd8 - smiley!!
Cd9 - circle
Cd10 - circle

So, it seems i ovulate much earlier than average. My app suggests i ov on cd14!!!

Just been back through my 'tracking' and we have never dtd on cd 7 & 8! We've done 6 and 9 butnever 8. So far, this time we managed 6 & 8 so i hope thats enough.

poly i read the leaflet thoroughly last night, and it said it pinpoints my best two days. Once i get the smiley it says i should dtd in the next 48hrs. So if you get cracking today you should hopefully still catch it. :-) I guess the flashing smilies give you more of a warning.

I suddenly feel like i've not done enough! 2 days before smiley, then the day of the smiley. I guess i could have tried for last night too.

Anyway, i think its a good idea to try ov tests as i have been targeting a good 6 days too late.
