I seriously need to clean my house its gross! But this morning I had Zumba then a long shower and rushed lunch! Now I'm Bussing it to the other side of the city to my friends DD's 8th bday party! Tomorrow I have the dreaded trans vaginal scan to make sure my bits are in working order, on a SUNDAY! Was hoping for the appointment to be in the week so I could skive work for a few hours but its eating into my time! They do these things 7 days a week apparently!

Sorry it's been a crap morning for some of you! Notta I haven't phoned the docs yet but I will on Monday - I can only go on a Wednesday as that's the only day DH can drive me there - we live in a rural area and it's miles away! But fingers crossed for you!!

Anyone know how long after +ive on opk for ov? I poas yesterday and got 2 lovely matching lines but today line is really faint again. I was hoping that I hadn't missed the boat. Hmmm

i think its within 12-24 hours starbright ive had a busy day at work and finally convinced dh to dtd this morn on cd8..... starting using opks today so will see if i ov on day 16 again :) awwww love the dragon pic!!!

So, grapefruit juice was on the shopping list and when I got home an amazon parcel was waiting with pre-seed and pregnancy kits (I won't tell you that I also bought new underwear to help the process along as that's a wee bit too much info)

starbright....I agree with Kurama, I think 12-24 hours as you don't know how long you've been at your peak, iykwim! I had a matching line earlier today and just pee'd on another opk and it's still just as dark but I would expect it to be much lighter in the morning!

I'm hoping to dtd again later or tomorrow but dp is working long hours with overtime so it might not happen.....we managed this morning though so we're still in with a chance :)

Evening all. What do you ladies do about....the leakage after dtd? Dtd this morning, laid in bed for 15 min then got up. I was heading off to the stables for the morning, theres no loo there. So went to loo and the ingredients were expelled! Couldn't face keeping it with me to make a reappearance at some point while i was out......

I let my 'ingredients' go almost immediately after DTD...perhaps I should wait a while before kicking the little spermies out? Hmm. Just hate that leaky feeling afterwards that feels like I've peed myself! We're super romantic in our house and make a mad dash to the bathroom post DTD to get cleaned up (good job I don't need to impress OH as it's. To a pretty process!!!)

On a slightly different note - Notta - you ride? Do you have your own horse? I have a 14.2hh traditional piebald gypsy cob mare who is my world. LOVE that pony! Especially when she's a superstar out on a hack (bareback, like you do ) in a hail storm! Sorry for going off topic there. I get excited when I meet other horsey peeps .

We only dtd last thing at night so I'm lying down for 8 hours after lol! However the following day I always put on a panty liner as I know what goes up must come down at some point! At least with a liner it gets caught instead of wetting my pants!

I hate letting all the little swimmers leak out and try to keep still as long as possible to keep as many as possible.

This month I have been trying to increase ewcm. All the grapefruit juice, epo and cough medicine and I seem to have not had any at all this cycle - usually get a little butnow, none at all!. Lol. Maybe the opks were wrong and its not time yet.

What does the pineapple do? And grapefruit for that matter. I love pineapple.

Regarding lost spermies, I have read that the ones that escape were no use anyway, if they were going to make it through your cervix they would have done.

However, I have also read about success using Instead Soft Cups (designed for AF). You insert one after DTD and it keeps the spermies in. Like a little hammock! You can wear it for 8 hours then remove and throw away.

I tried it once but I found it a bit too gross. Nearly threw up when I pulled it out and it was full of 8-hour-old spunk. Sorry TMI!

I think the pineapple aids conception, you are meant to have it up until OV day,
I could probably do with reading up on this since the pineapple is in my fridge, any help, any experts know what to do with the pineapple?

Think it was grapefruit to eat till ovulation for better ewcm (think someone said) and pinapple to help implantation and eat (especially the core) after ovulation.

I think you're right about the grapefruit and pineapple starbright. That's what I've been doing anyway. But CD 10 and no ewcm yet! I guess we'll know if it's working in the next few days.

With regard to the leaky swimmers, it's all about the NUDP in our house. I have to say I started it last cycle and I noticed much less leakage. I was quite upset the previous month and was in tears one night because I wasn't well and had forced myself to dtd and immediately after we'd finished I coughed and sneezed and there was a big gush! Felt like a complete waste of time!
