There's still no baby here - I was back at the hospital this morning for further monitoring and another scan and everything is looking positive for Friday. I'm starting to get a little bit nervous now though.....

I'm about 6dpo now. Zero symptoms. Reckon i'll test next monday (if i'm good). we're away this weekend so there wont be much opportunity to pee on any sticks. Weirdly when i found out i was expecting DD we'd just come back from the place we are going to this weekend. I hope there's some luck in our stars!

DH has been asking how much longer til we find out if we've done it. ARGH i hope it's soon!!!

SYMPTOM!!

Oooo retro I was just going to have some soup too! Despite 2 paracetamol I'm still v hot and I had a few waves of nausea an hour ago face is v puffy too. I've known friends who got a flu like bug they couldn't shake, then realised they were pg! But they did that without trying and realised a couple of months later! I mean how could you not know???? Clearly our obsessive pee sticks aren't for everyone.

A friend of mine came off the pill intentionally and didn't realise she was pg for five weeks! Far too laid back for me.

I'd love to be able to do it like that, but ttc has shown just how much of a control freak I am

I do think it started as a cold, as I had a sore throat from 2/3 dpo, but I'm so rarely poorly the only reason I can think for it lasting this long is a reduced immune system... Fx our flu has a very good explanation!

TTC since Jan, I've got through; 20 ic hpts, 50 ic opks, 4 FRER, 4 Wilkos cheapies and around 6 - 8 assorted other tests.

Well when I realised when DH was away I said that I would test when he got back. He gets back Wednesday evening, so I'll be testing Thursday morning (cd28, 16dpo) if AF doesn't get me first...
