Morning ladies, I'm out. AF is here. Bang on time. Day 5 of feeling sick and having cramps. And it's Monday. This is SHIT!

Is there an April bus yet? Need to bag a seat!

Totally feel the same Retro and Toots. Plus until 2 years ago I was adamant that I didn't want children so feel like I've jinxed myself!

Well AF arrived with a vengeance last night at 11pm. By 2am I was screaming in agony and begging dh to stay with me because I thought I was going to die. Worst AF pain I have ever felt. My stomach, thighs and lower back were all in indescribable agony. So this morning I am heat padded and painkillered up to the max for school. Roll on this afternoons ppa!
I am giving April a miss but if it is ok with you lovely ladies I will still hang about with you all to wave pom poms and look at penis dragons?

Retro I completely get what you mean about feeling like you must have something bad around the corner as you have used up more than your quota of good, I worry about that kind of thing a lot and am quite glad to find out it's not just me! I dont think the universe is that balanced though, there is there is no pattern to who gets the good and who gets the bad, its arbitary imo (although that doesnt stop me worrying about it!)

missmrs and rambini gutted for you both and and . rambini, that sounds horrendous, is it normal for your period to be that bad? :( can you take your PPA at home in pjs?

toots, I told my mum at the end of April when I got my faint evap line. She got so excited and emotional that I wished I'd not mentioned it, but if anything did go wrong, or we had real troubles, then I'd want to be able to talk to her about it.

My glands are enormous, I'm wondering, I know I forgot my thyroxine for 2 days last week, which sometimes triggers this awful throat. Still not been paid it's been a v stressful week. Not surprised I'm ill really. After school run I'm hitting boots the enormous chemist for supplies of get better vits.

Not slept much, as dh sort of punched me in the rib at 3.30. He was asleep, but when he's stressed he sort of acts out his dreams took my breath away. Then he was rambling for the rest of the night. Then the cat jumped on me at 4.30, with prickly claws!

Feeling v sorry for myself today. I've had pneumonia several times so I'm a bit worried. Once when pg in first trimester. When chest is this bad I need steroids. Of fuckety fuck! How can this go from a bit if a sore throat to this in 2 days.

Do we know if there's an April bus yet? If not, shall I start one?

MrsExtra, you do sound in a sorry state get thee to the doctors! Lots of vitamins and daytime telly. Poor RetroHound has been so neglected; every time I go outside my chest tightens and I can't breathe. Thankfully the dog walker is coming today, I might see if she can take home for an hour.

Could well be a symptom . I am now wondering as I am never ill, don't take time off etc and this has knocked me for six. I'm assuming it's a similar virus we've both got but for it to get this bad my immune system must be shocking.

Unfortunately my gp practice is utterly rubbish! There's no point even asking for an apt today as they won't even allocate an emergency apt to me. I will give if my best shot tomorrow. Bloody nhs and a failing system! Which reminds me I was supposed to change gp.

I have done another amazon test and still nothing. But still no af either.
Keep getting stomach cramp like things and assuming af is in her way but still not here and that's 4 days late.
Think if nothing has happened on thurs (7th day) I will go to the doctors.
I think I'm out and I had a talk with dh yesterday about what to try next. He doesn't think spending £100 on digital ov tests is worth it. (I'm struggling with cheap opks to see if they are gettin darker etc)

If this month is a no what should I buy,
Gimme a list as next month will be month 10. I'm ready for a all guns blazing attack, then if I need to go to the docs for assistance I can feel proud I have tried everything I can myself first.

(Sill secretly keeping my fingers crossed I'm one of the very rare ones who's hpg doesn't show in urine shufty eyes)

MrsExtra, my GP is crappy too. I went last Monday but was asked if I 'really needed to see a doctor?' Erm. Yes. That's why I called

I only got abs as I called 111 Sunday morning (4.30, wheezing like an accordion) and they got me in at 9:10. Otherwise I doubt I'd have been able to see anyone till tomorrow.

So if you're still feeling shite this evening, try 111 just after the GP closes

nix I found a 2 month supply of cb digital ov kit for £25 the other day! ive also bought wellman conception vits for dh and the conceive plus lube . dh thinks im mad as we are skint but its all out war now!!! both our nasty bugs have gone now but ive still got a horribly blocked nose and a tickly chesty cough. bring on the april bus!!!

I've never tried 111. So that's definitely worth a thought. Good to hear the appetite is still good retro! I'm Hungary but don't think I can swallow today. And I've just turned down a latte! It's a sign! I'm clearly convincing myself yet another pg symptom!

I'd never tried it. SIL recommended it, DNiece has needed it more than once! They were pretty good, but I called around half 5 Saturday and they couldn't get me an appt till midnight, which is why I called back Sunday morning.

They all sounded very concerned when I said there was a chance I might be pg. All except the actual GP!

And my Saturday coffee tasted of ass.

Morning. Going for a blood test in a min but I already know the outcome as test is very light.
I spoke to the nurse who really really pissed me off tbh as I asked for a blood form and she asked why. So I said about my lines not getting any darker and said, if it's positive then a urine test will suffice!
I said er no because a blood test tells my hcg levels rising or lowering and a urine test can show positive even if you've miscarried. Such a fucking idiot!
Needless to say I now have my forms for 2 tests being left for me.

Oh choccy you just don't need idiot nurses on top of everything else. It makes it all so much harder. I have had hcg tests myself where it didn't double in the 3 days. But it wasn't 72 hrs, more like 60, so they convinced me it was bad news. That was after spotting and ttc for 18 mts. But it was all ok and I didn't mc. Make sure it's definitely 72 hrs for an accurate result. Wishing you all the luck in the world.
