Robussitin anyone?

Has anyone tried Robussitin to help with the production of EWCM? where did you get it from>

Have tried the grapefruit juice and couldn't see much improvement this month. Thought I might try this cough syrup before I try real EW or pre-seed.

Tixylix childrens cough mixture contains it or boots do their own version. Have a look at the ingredients label to check it is there.

I used it for both of mine and I think it did help.

Does it not have a different name in the UK though? Guafinessin or something like that?

Robitussin is just a US brand name, but the active ingredient is guaifenesin. I do remember buying the cough mixture from Boots - can't remember the actual brand but it is very popular. It had many different formulations but look at the ingredients. It should be a guaifenesin-only expectorant, for loosening mucous.

I found that combining it with evening primrose oil (available in capsules from any pharmacy, health shop), taken during first half of the cycle before ovulation helped.

Thanks. That is really helpful. I take Evening Primrose Oil capsules anyway as I have been advised to by my optician because my eyes do not create enough oil. Is there any danger in taking it all through your cycle do you think?

MrsMcJnr, I think the concern about taking EPO during the second half of the cycle is that it may cause uterine contractions. I don't know the risk of that balanced against the benefits to your eyes, though.

I used a sudafed one with treacle
the ingredient you need is guifanesin
first mointh I tok it and EPO and drunk grapefruit juice and used pre seed sperm friendly lubricant to compensate for lack of ewcm
And bingo!
Not sure which method worked so recommend them all
be sure that guifanesin is the only active ingredient as soem have active ingreds, that dry up mucous as well

Yep, I used it along with epo and grapefruit juice. (Had used only epo and juice the cycle before)We got pg second cycle. I now recommend it to everyone!

Oh and I just took it a few days before and week of ovulation.
