Someone slap me please and give me some of my own advice. So tempted to test tomorrow morning, it's actually starting to drive me a little bit loopy. Trying not to think about it!! Why does the 2ww have to be 2 frikkin weeks!!

Choccywoccydodah · 08/03/2014 16:55

sammyj85 · 08/03/2014 17:01

Well fx it gets nice and darker for you tomorrow. . Don't beat yourself up, its inevitable we give in, its too hard.

barmybunting · 08/03/2014 17:02

choccy I love you and your POAS! Don't run away, that is incredibly exciting!! Grin Will you test again tomorrow morning?

missmrs Good to hear you are part time for another few weeks yet. I hope it continues to go ok, and you get enough rest.

My willpower has now disappeared, choccy was holding me to it and has now excited me so I will be POAS tomorrow morning. I would be tonight but for friends coming over shortly.

broodysnoopstie · 08/03/2014 17:02

Thanks ladies but I've already tested today with fmu and got a bfn.

barmybunting · 08/03/2014 17:04

You are not a twat choccy! You have been incredibly strong through the last few months and we are so hopeful this is the sticky one for you! Tentatively keeping everything crossed for the next few weeks for you Thanks . Also, it's probably better to know sooner so you can contact the gp/professor to get anything you may need to support your pregnancy.

Choccywoccydodah · 08/03/2014 17:06

You made me cry barmy.
I just hope this is really it. I've really had about all I can take now.
Dh is down in the cellar with BIL, I just can't tell him yet. We've got friends coming over in a bit too.
Off to sob in the corner......

Has anyone heard about baby aspirin? I know some people have been advised who suffer from recurrent emc. Not advising, just asking if anyone else knows about it?

Choccywoccydodah · 08/03/2014 17:09

I took it during my last month ttc mrsExtra, I fell again, but again it didn't stick (obviously).
My professor advised against it, (actually told me off for using it without the advice of a professional) but some people swear by it.
If you want to take it though, take it Smile

Fx choccy hopefully your friends will take your mind off it this eve and you get a darker line next time you test x

Choccywoccydodah · 08/03/2014 17:11

Thanks.

Just worked out I've got to get to 18th March. That will be the longest. That's a long frikkin way away (and also my Dads birthday!)

OP posts:
barmybunting · 08/03/2014 17:12

Sorry choccy, not my intention to make you cry, but I totally understand you feeling that way. If you can keep busy tonight with your friends, hopefully that will help. A good cry in the corner is a good way to get rid of het up emotions too. Thinking of you, you must be feeling in a right muddle, I would be! Thanks and a hug for you.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 08/03/2014 17:22

Good luck choccy, I'm really hoping this month is better news for you! Interesting about the aspirin. I've never taken it but I know of others who have. I'm not really sure of the gain in it, doesn't aspirin thin the blood.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 08/03/2014 17:30

Choccy!! That's super news but I completely get how you must be feeling. You're not a twat. Have a cry then enjoy your evening!! Truly hopeful for you that this is a nice sticky one and the progesterone does the trick!!
You must be super fertile! Fingers crossed for you!!! Smile

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2014 17:35

Ahh Choccy....I'm so thrilled for you!!

Keeping everything crossed that this little bean will be a sticky one for you xx

missmrsmummy · 08/03/2014 17:35

My poor DH is exhausted! After DTD he said 'I really hope you're pg this month; we can't go on like this!' Feel bad.

Choccywoccydodah · 08/03/2014 17:35

Thanks English. Just going to be a hard 10 days now!

Will test again in the morning I think. I need to get to boots for the FRER! The test came up within a couple of minutes while I carried on cleaning the house, so it's not an evap. Very very very very faint though.

MrsExtra, part of mcs can be blood clotting to the placenta. The baby aspirin helps thin the blood (not too much hence the baby part), the enable blood to get to the baby.
It can also help with the uterus thickness I believe.
