Implantation bleeding is really rare, bleeding in early pregnancy is common but it's unlikely to be implantation. Implantation occurs around 9-12 DPO.

As akachan said, not everyone has implantation bleeding - I'm sure I have previously read that only between 15-20% of women experience it. If it does occur it is usually around 9-12dpo but can occur as early as 6dpo. A pregnancy test should detect the hormone about 2-3 days after implantation has occurred.

Ah well I tested 3 days after and got bfn so probably wasn't!
