Second day of af and keep checking the boards but don't feel like I fit in anywhere at the moment or have anything to say with two weeks till I ovulate! Anyone else in the same boat?? Really hope this is our month even though it's only our 2nd ttc. Going to get conception vits for me and other half and also try an ovulation pack so looking forward to getting to grip with those.

Looking forward to a rest too Emily! Previously we've been trying to dtd every other day throughout the whole month... but that was kinda pressurising esp for OH. So this month we're just doing an ovulation week shagathon!! (Fingers crossed I've got the right week eh!)

Hehe shagathon love it! Well I really hope this Is your month rpopz but in case it isn't I recommend the clearblue ovulation sticks that tell you high and peak fertility as I think that's y I didn't fall last month because I thought I ovulated much later due to a 30 day cycle. Time will tell

We have a child free weekend, kids away Fri to Mon so we will be starting the dtd marathon then afterwards it'll be every other day until after ov then we will be back to sexy time when we are in the mood

Have been trying to avoid opks and the like Emily but starting to think it might actually take the stress out of the whole ttc thing rather than add to it. I'm not sure DH is really enjoying the process :-(

My DH is not enjoying the process either! Especially not 16 months worth of the process!

I'm cd10 today and I "feel fertile" already... I ovd late last month, maybe this month I'm early and already missed the boat?! Only stopped bleeding cd7 tho. Not dtd at all for 2 weeks so DH's sperm is old and rubbish if we did it now. Feeling hopeless already!

Yup I have ewcm. Will DH's sperm be no good?! No harm in trying though I guess...

Nothing to say they won't be any good!! I think old spunks reabsorb, they take at least 70 days to mature so id go with it!! Today & tomorrow to cover all bases

I always wonder about cm...they say spunk can live 2-7 days but what type of cm is that in though? Some non fertile cm is too acidic? Over thinking today, sorry!!x

bellaboo I've never thought about the cm that keeps the swimmers alive the longest, hmmmmmmm! Might have to google that in the morning, very crabit tonight so heading to bed x

I imagine it's the EWCM that keeps the speem alive for the longest time. That's why they say you should start BDing when you see fertile cm.

Ewcm sounds fab Victoria get humping!! Sperm are reproducing all the time and the dead ones get absorbed back into the body so I wouldn't worry. I was googling yesterday about dtd everyday and the quality of sperm and I came to the conclusion that's everday is fine because sperm is always renewing.
My permanent smiley was gone this morning. I quite missed its happy face! We dtd last night against both of our wills as we were so tired but it had to be done otherwise I wouldn't have felt that I had done my very best to fall. I think my oh is now looking forward to a break however do you think it would be a good idea to dtd tonight? Today is the first day after my 2 peak days so there may still be a chance? We bd 6 times in 7 days I'm so looking forward to a break! Well I guess I am first day of tww :)

Emily 6 out of 7 days? OSHA I'd be looking for a rest now too, lol. I think you will be ok to stop now, the wee swimmers will still be around to cover the next couple of days...

Here's my plan for my weekend off...
Fri after 3 o'clock when kids leave, do shopping, have a Chinese, watch some breaking bad, have some sexy time then sleep
Saturday, wake up, morning sex bath then ready for our day/night out in Edinburgh, drink lots of wine, home and more sex
Sunday, hangover so might miss morning sex, sleep and eat rubbish all day, sexy time before an early night
Mon, morning sex before oh goes to work and then enjoy a day to myself before the kids get back

Good plan? The oh doesn't know about all this sex though but I'm sure he won't say no

Ov's not til about Wed or Thu but the weekend is the start of my fertile window so will make the most of it then get a few quickies in before the end of the week

Really cross with myself that we didn't dtd last night! We went out for romantic meal and then when I get home I'm feeling really really sick and had to go lie down! Felt sick rest of evening and went to bed early! Last time I have curry night at the Swan! Still have ewcm this morning and I'm hoping dtd tonight and over the weekend will be ok! I'm only day 11 after all!

Don't beat yourself up Victoria as u say we were so close to not dtd last night I got into bed at 9 as was exhausted oh came up about 9.30 as I told him earlier on in evening that we needed to dtd he was miffed as he was sure I said that tomorrow i.e. Yesterday we could have a break. I was nearly asleep as so tired but a surge of energy told me we should do it! As you say you are only cd11 so if you dtd tonight you will be fine. I am cd15 today and wondering how to broach the subject with oh about bd again tonight!! Lol

Victoria me and my oh will have been together 6 years in August! In some ways feels like ages and other times like it's been a blink of an eye! Engaged but not married yet. Wonder wether to get married if we find out we are upduffed as I hate the thought of not having the same surname as my baby but I worry about looking fat and horrible in photogs as I've been eating as though I'm preg for last 2 months lol we only want to do registry and party in our garden so hopefully wouldn't be too expensive

I'm such a copy cat, we have also been together 6 years (in June) meant to get engaged last year but life got in the way so I think we will just go straight for marriage after baby #3, I really hate not having the same surname as my kids, just doesn't feel right x

Well hate to tell you that its our 6th wedding anniversary and we have been together 8!

We have been together 2 and nearly married a year.

Haha Emily, DH is getting his night off tonight and then back on it Friday til Sunday... hopefully all bases covered then hehe. Thought last night would be a struggle as 3rd night in a row but was actually the best yet so just goes to show!

We were on holiday for our wedding anniversary last weekend, but I was just ending AF when we got there so that was poorly planned!!
