I'm on second month of ttc. Just wanted to know should baby dancing be carried out every day when ttc? Also and this may sound so stupid but can you get pregnant at any time during the month?

Sorry but am a new one and not sure which thread to join! There seems to be so many!!

Hello there i have been there, so i try to help. The best time to get pregnant is to count days after your first day of period and it is 13th 14th and 15th day. Done it twice and it worked.wink

Cream1 · 09/08/2006 23:20

So if i baby danced on my 7th day for instance i couldn't fall pregnant?

It depends when you ovulate.

Lemmingswife · 09/08/2006 23:31

You stand most chance of falling pregnant if you have sex in the middle of your cycle.

Cream1 · 09/08/2006 23:35

Yeah I know that you stand more chance in middle of cycle, but just wasn't sure if it was at all possible to fall pregnant at beginning and end. Say didn't baby dance one month in the middle, do you still have a chance? Sorry just wanted to clear this up!

Hi and welcome

(Oh and thanks for wishing me luck on the other thread!!)

People's fertile times are all different.....if you really want to go for it...the best thing to do is BD from about day 8 onwards...every other day is plenty!!!

My best advice - don't stop too soon!!! My fertile cycle days are 18, 19 and 20......tried for YEARS around CD14!!!!!

It is technically possible to get pregnant from doing it on CD7. Sperm can live for up to 5 days in fertile CM so that would mean you could have had sperm in there for up to CD12 and depending on when you ovulated then that could be all you needed.
There was a post on here about someone getting pg after doing it really very early in their cycle at a time when they wouldn't have thought possible - and there are plenty of people who ovulate later than the 14 day mark.

rubles · 10/08/2006 07:28

So what I'm saying is try to spread it over as many days in your cycle whilst obviously trying to keep it natural/spontaneous/enjoyable for you both.

yana04 · 10/08/2006 17:56

Hello, if your period is after 28 days the hightest possibylity to get it dann is 13th 14th and 15th day
if is after 32days 17th 18th and 19th day in those days your egg is just ready !!!!

yana04 · 10/08/2006 18:02

And only say sperm with XXmail lives 12ourhs
with XYfemale lives 24ours
If it last five days it must be a SUPERSPER

coggy · 10/08/2006 18:18

Although....just to confuse.....my cycles are average 28 days and I ov on CD18/19.

Best to investigate and look out for some of the signs......

yana04 · 10/08/2006 21:28

So best to get on it 17 18 19 20 but don`t stress take it easy it will happend one way or another. GOOD LUCK

coggy · 10/08/2006 22:14

...but I wasn't asking the question!!!!!

Cream1 · 13/08/2006 00:51

Sorry I haven't posted back. Been so busy sorting out housework and working and just haven't had the time. My cycles, i wouldn't say are regular. I have had cycles lasting 43 days before now (back in November and January), they range now from 28 days to 34 days. Have been using ovulation sticks since Tuesday of last week which would have been CD10 (yes I know this is early but as first time of using them wanted to see how it works etc as not sure when I ovulate). From this info, does anyone know when I may be likley to ovulate? Silly question - if you don't ovulate, do you have afs? So worried I'm not ovulating. Using the sticks makes me think I am doing something to try and help the situation. Silly, but comforting. Only been two months and getting me down already. Told my best friend ttc and how feeling and she states it will happen when its ready and don't worry - so hard not to. Always in back of mind. Anyone else feel the same?
