Implantation cramps

My period is due in 12 days but i started having mild cramps today.Could this be implantation cramping? Anybody else experienced this? Thanks.

Its difficult to say without knowing how many days post ovulation you are. Implantation wouldn't normally start until at least 6 to 8 DPO so if you are in that timeframe then yes it could be cramping from implantation
