Hi All :-)

Desperately seeking some advice/help/encouragement here, think I have come to the right place :-) but haven't posted before.

three years ago I was diagnosed with AMH 0.07 and FSH 4.5. I was told I would never conceive with my own eggs. I was truly devastated at the time, but knew my life ahead was as a Mother. We went ahead with donor egg. In Dec 2012 I gave birth to the most gorgeous baby girl.from the moment she was born, I just KNEW she had always rested in my soul, she was just 'waiting' to be conceived, as conceived she was :-) Not perhaps the route I would have thought but nonetheless this wee soul, who had always been waiting for US came to earth.
She is now her Daddy's and my joy and every existence :-) We have two frozen embryo's and are preparing to go back and try again for a much wanted sibling for our precious daughter :-) .
She is 14 mths now, and the only thing that is stopping us from going back is, that I am still breastfeeding her :-) .My periods returned to normal while still breastfeeding her at 3mths This can happen apparently)and I have been 28/30 days ever since.
I am now 45 years old. We HAD hoped to return for our FET in next few weeks. I need to wait for my next period to start the drugs on 4th Feb....however NO PERIOD!! I have never been over more than 2 days and am very regular. We did have sex in what would have been my optimal time...but have long since given up trying/counting to conceive naturally.
I have had 'Hot Flashes' during the nights for the past 6 mths or so, but no other 'menopausal symptoms'..could this be the menopause now?I am 45 after all..................am wanting but also.........dreading to take a pregnancy test...what do you think?

It could just be the stress of the approaching FET that could have delayed your period.

Menopause symptoms would be more obvious, but having said that at 45 my periods did get a bit more irratic, closer together with the occasional one a bit later. (I am now preg at age 46). Do a pregnancy test to help put your mind at rest.
