Hi

Hoping someone can give me some advice. I have been using the clearblue OPK tests for a few months now and have the ones where you get a flashing face for 2 days and then a solid face. For the first two months this is what i got but for the last two months I have been getting 4-5 days of flashing faces with no soild face appearing and the first flashing face appears quite late into my cycle.

I am now CD 14 into my normal 25 day cycle and still getting the flashing face. I have had other signs of leading up to an ovulation such as EWCM, pain and a rise in temps. Should i just ditch these tests as i am starting to really panic about the symbol on a stupid white stick!!

Thanks for reading.

Hi Waffley,

I don't have any advice I'm afraid but this is my first month using these OPKs and I have had my fifth flashing face this morning - CD13 Confused. Am now panicked that I am not ovulating! I'm not temping or anything. I'm starting to wonder whether these tests are more stress (and expense Grin) than they are worth and perhaps I should listen to my body instead. I usually have ovulation pain and haven't felt much this month I don't think.

Hopefully someone will have some advice for us - or even better, a happy story about a BFP after lost of flashing faces Smile

Hello, I have never use these but I have heard they're not as reliable as the clearblue monitor. I used that with great success. Maybe try and source one on ebay? Good luck

thanks guys. I think I am going to ditch them. I did actually get pregnant last year s soon as we started to try but it ended up a PUL so I'm just hoping something up with the tests and not me

Sorry to hear about your experiences last year, I hope you get your BFP v soon. Think I might ditch them too.

Hi guys, in case you are still reading, I just got my eighth flashing smiley, am cd16 and usually ov cd12-13. I have now run out of sticks, if I buy more and keep testing and have missed ov will it go down to low fertility again (empty circle) or will it stay high do you know? Don't want to waste my money!
Thanks guys x
