does a line on opk indicate a bfp?

just tested with an opk and have a line thats not as strong as control one but definitely a strong line

is this an indication that I might get a bfp? im 8 dpo so to early for a pregnancy test

I don't think they work any earlier than pregnancy tests do they? I think they just can't tell LH from HCG.

No, you get a small LH increase just before AF is due so, a near positive is possible on an OPK just before AF.

You get a positive pregnancy test before the OPK becomes positive due to pregnancy, so waste of time doing OPK just before AF. Sorry!
