Hi new to this site !
I'm ttc over one year , been diagnosed with PID last year , since then have had no luck conceiving.
I'm majorly worried my tubes are blocked , if they are is it possible to unblock them ?
Have previously been pregnant which ended in termination sadly.
Any one else been in this situation ??
Thanks

Hi lucy.

Have you been to your GP? If you've been trying for more than 12 months they should refer you to a fertility consultant.

One of the things they check for is whether your tubes are ok - they usually do this by squirting dye through them (known as an HSG). Sometimes if there is a small blockage this procedure can flush it out, and there is some evidence that it improves chances of conception for up to 3 months afterwards. Good luck!
