hi. i was on conception a while ago as was trying to conceive. became pregnant, started blleding at 6 weeks. lost 1 baby, still 2 there. sadly lost the twins at 13 weeks. devastated.
so ok, had one period since and now 10 days late. sadly know i am not pg ( would be a miracle as no sex) also done test to confirm.
so questions.
is it normal to become irregular after miscarriage?
also how long trying to conceive before asking a dr for assistance and not being laughed at? ( 10 months now for us )
What exactly is chlomid as read alot of people on it? is it perscription?
How the hell do you stop it from taking over your life? just want this period to come so we can try next month. dreading having the wait for it to arrive, disapointment when it does etc.?
How exactly can i go about temping and ovulating measuring?

sorry if they seem silly questions but need to start thinking about doing things now. thanks.

I think 10 months is long enough AmyJo. Go and see your gp...it does rather depend on age eg. 12months if under 35 and 6months if over (as a guide) but I always say what harm can it do to go and discuss it.

Clomid is perscription only and referred by a fertility consultant.

I can't help with temping but plenty on here do it including Trace...she's be able to answer your questions.

Sorry to hear about your three little ones....I hope that your cycle sorts itself out soon.

Sorry to here of your loss amyjo, i lost twins before ds was concieved and then lost 5 seperate babies after him.
Luckily im now 24 weeks pg. I found that my periods were slightly irregular after a m/c but do check with your g.p if thier to irregular like coggy said it never hurts to check.

I asked my g.p after 10 months and he refered me to a gynocologist and fertility expert but i didnt go in the end becuase i fell pg this time. But i dont think you will be laughed at even if they dont think you need a speciallist they will just kindly tell you to try a little longer and come back again.

I dont know anything about chlomid sorry.

Temping and ovulating charts can help but they can be misleading if your cycles are irregular.

I'm not sure what advice to give about taking over your life because i know exactly how you feel, the advice people gave me was its more likley to happen if you relax and dont base sex all aorund getting pg, but its easier said than done.

I hope it happens for you soon.
