Am I right in saying u can only conceive when u r fertile or ovulating? I'm so thick at this stuff and downloaded an app to help. Thank you x

you need to find out when you ovulate and have sex before so theres sperm waiting for the egg as takes about 12 hrs for the sperm to get that far.

this month I ovulated on a Thursday so we dtd sun, mon, wed and fri to make sure

if you want to help find out when you ovulate you can buy ovulation tests on ebay, about £3 for 30. I use them from the 8th day of my cycles (day 1 =1st day of period) until I get a positive result, I do a test at 7am and 3pm as the surge can only last a few hours so I dont want to miss it
