I'm confused about my due date.

I am apparently due on the 17th of May 2014 but the last time I had sex was before the day I apparently conceived is that right? I had sex on the 8th of August so would I not be further gone than what I am??

They count you as 4 weeks pg when you miss your first period.
But when they do scans they alter due date using size of the baby a bit silly they even used that with mine and i knew 100% when it was due to ivf

You don't necessarily conceive on the day you have sex. it will often be a day or a few days later.

In theory sperm can live in the fallopian tubes and you could conceive a week or two after last having sex.

I think it takes at least five or six days for the egg to implant after it has been fertilised. Sperm can survive in a fertile environment for up to six days ( I think )so you could have bd six days before ovulation and got pregnant.
