Just started 2WW- BFP due 20th Feb- come join me??

Hi, I'm guessing I'm now in the 2WW as had positive OPK yesterday and the day before. Is there anybody that has their BFP due around the 20th and that has just started their 2WW.

Would be great to talk to stop ourselves going bonkers! What have you done this month to ttc? Anything different?

I have used OPKs and have followed the smep plan. Also drinking pineapple juice which apparently makes you produce more Ewcm and I'm taking pregnacare.

Yes apparently it helps a lot with ewcm, also drinking lots of water and taking vitamin b6.

It makes me laugh all the things you're doing but only because I'm the same, I seem to be approaching ttc like a military operation. I've read about SMEP as well, are you finding it hard/tiring to stick to? I'm using fertility friend as well as ovufriend, I've no idea why I'm using both as they're pretty much telling me the same thing :) oh and I used 2 different types of opk on each day when I was looking for my ovulating day just because I wasn't sure which brand would be better. I've also read that you should orgasm after DH when dtd as that can help suck up the spermies, tmi? Sorry! But thought it was worth a try. I've also stopped drinking coffee and booze, but if AF gets me I will drown my sorrows in an espresso martini

The SMEP is not too bad really. I just added "Business meeting" to our shared Google calendar and when our phones reminded us we went upstairs and got down to business! The last one (3DPO) seemed a bit unnecessary and neither of us were really in the mood but fortunately the relevant part of DH has a mind of its own and was more than willing! I think I might adjust for my latish ovulation next time by missing off the first one (CD8) though.

Not sure about your last suggestion though. Might put the washing machine out of order if it has to do a spin cycle with me sat on it that often!

Loving the business meeting method :) have you ever heard of the flight of the conchords song "Business Time", you should both set that up as your alert music, google it on youtube, tis very funny.

Fingers cross that our slightly neurotic, try anything approach might work for one or both of us this month. Are you getting any symptoms yet? I'm 6DPO today, my temp isn't particularly high and have no symptoms other than sore chest, which is usual for this time in the cycle and probably AF related. It's so hard not to read into every little sign as meaning something.

I did. BFN. I expected it as I'm only 11dpo and af not due until Wednesday. Still disappointed though.

Im only 6dpo so it's way too early to test yet. But my stash of IC are tormenting me. Will resist though until at least Monday when I will still be only a ridiculously early 9dpo

My next period is due to start 26th feb does that mean when I should plan I am going to get my bfp on 26th? This is my first time Ttc still trying to get my head round it all!! I've just started my 2 week wait today as should have ovulated Wednesday - does this all sound right? X

What does dpo mean please ?

It's days past ovulation, so you should be about 2 dpo

It's like a whole new language this ttc malarkey!

What's the earliest you can do a p test If I am 2 dpo?

Um I am the most impatient person in the world and start around 9dpo which won't realistically show anything. I am 10dpo today and haven't done one today as have run out of cheap ones and don't want to use an expensive one as prob won't show anything :/ you should really wait until your period is due or is late for an accurate result. But there is no way I could do that :)

I will have to look that song up Zermatt. It would be funny if our phones played something different next month!

Interesting that your temperature isn't high; mine plummeted from 36.60ish, which it was for four days following ovulation to 36.30ish on day 5 and down to 36.13 today, well below my pre-ovulation temperatures. Naturally I have been frantically searching Fertility Friend's chart gallery for ones with implantation dips but it seems too early. Most are around 7DPO.

Sorry to see no Valentine BFPs on this thread so far. There's still time though! Hope it's just too early for it to show up.

My temp has been similar to yours, went up to 36.60 day after ov, then has been mostly around 36.40 apart from on 5dpo when it dropped to 36.15, now back to 36.40. It's so confusing, I was secretly wondering/hoping that maybe they'd got my ov day wrong and I was actually 7dpo today and yesterday was implantation dip, maybe yours could be too? It's good looking at other peoples charts on FF, I've been studying the pregnancy ones though and mine doesn't seem similar. I take my temp when I wake in the early hours at about 4 or 5, we also have air con and fan on as live in a hot country but doubt that affects it?

Fingers crossed it's all good signs. It's quite interesting finding all this stuff out and looking for patterns but would prefer it if there was a BFP at the end :)

Eeeeeeeek! I just caved and did an FR. There is a ridiculously faint pink line and it appeared after 3 mins. I am still 6 days off AF being due though but it can't be an evap right?

That's good news Squeaky! It certainly sounds like a positive one especially as you're not late yet, so it is bound to be light colour. Congratulations!

Let's hope you're right Zermatt. That sounds like a possible explanation. I don't think the fan & air con would affect it if you always have it on. I was thinking the same about the heating but again it's the same as it always is and even the weather is the same as it has been all week (more's the pity!)

Think I'm out for this month girls Didn't feel like af was starting, but went to the toilet earlier and had some brown spotting. Just went again and wiped away some very red dc - sorry if tmi!!! Early as well, I'm only 11 dpo! Full on focus for SMEP plan next month!

OK, I confess, I caved and poas this morning. Saw the tests in the bathroom and couldnt resist!!
Was bfn but think I expected it really.
Was excited by your early result Sqeaky, congrats! I WILL try to hold out until Tues before testing again!
