Has anyone got BFP before having your first period after stopping pill?

TTC but also waiting to see what my cycle will be like after 10 years on the pill.

I only came off Cerazelle 25 days ago. Was on that for a year, and Logynon for 9 years before that, with a 6month break about 5 years ago.

Even though I knew that it could take a while to get a normal cycle, I always assumed AF would come straight away if I ever stopped taking the pill.

I'm curious to know if anyone got pregnant before they'd had their 'first' period? And how long did it take for you to conceive?

I just realised that I can't remember how long it took to get a period when I had a break before, but I'm pretty sure it was within 4 weeks because I can't remember it being anything unusual

It took me 8 weeks to get a period back but it was all over the place for about 2.5 months ish. I do know a few people who got pregnant without having their first period but to be honest I wish I'd have waited until having a normal period again before trying because it adds to the stress of not knowing what's going on!

I was pregnant with my DD before my first period after being on the pill for 6 years. Now I'm TTC #2 and having no luck ironic I know . But you have to believe if it's your time to be pregnant it will happen so good luck to you hope it happens for you. Xx

Thanks both. It does feel twice as confusing not knowing what my cycle should be. I'm not used to not being in control of things!

I think that's the hardest bit no control I think that's why some people get pregnant when they start IVF/give up/go on holiday they let go and it seems to help. I have no idea how to let go though if anyone knows the secret can they let me know! X

Me! I genuinely didn't think I was pregnant as I'd only just come off the pill, we hadn't really started trying and I thought my symptoms were down to my body adjusting to coming off the pill (was also on cerazette)...little did I know!
