Choccywoccydodah · 26/02/2014 10:47

Sara eeeek! Looks like a big fat line to me.
Congratulations!
And ps, it's technically February, so buggar off onto that bus ha ha!! Wink Only joking!!

Mama, sounding positive GrinGrin

mama31 · 26/02/2014 10:48

Choccy I hate to get my hopes up! But it's so hard not to. How are you doing? Hope you got successfully "filled" hahaha!!!! I have no doubt ;)

cth1982 · 26/02/2014 10:58

mama good news about cycle length though! I am currently tracking properly for the first time and still no sign of ovulation (am currently Day 15 of cycle) - last month I was on a 40 day cycle so could still have a bit of a wait but it is the wait that is killing me!

mama31 · 26/02/2014 11:03

Cth I know all we do is wait...for ovulation...for 2ww....for bfp....for af.....arrrrgghh so frustrating! Hope you get pos opk soon! Then you can start waiting for 2ww haha!!!

katecupoftea · 26/02/2014 11:24

Hello, popping over from the not-too-lucky Feb bus where the last few of us stragglers are hanging around with no BFPs yet. We're going to have a little 'farewell' party on Friday then all jump over here so be ready to welcome us! Also hoping this bus has more good news than the Feb one. Good luck to anyone testing early!

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 12:28

Ha choccy I'm not counting it as a positive yet, I don't have a single symptom so want to wait to see if AF turns up at weekend. Can't believe it's going to be March on sat!

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 13:10

Just told my mum we are ttc again! My god you'd think I was 22 not 42, she gave me such a row, lol, was so funny. She's calmed down now, think she just got a shock. Think I'll keep it to myself now though incase that's everyone's reaction Smile

ScoutFinchMockingbird · 26/02/2014 15:00

Ok. Deep breath. Going to catch this bus I hope! Vital stats: 37 ttc #2 cycle #1. Not sure of other details as only just decided to crack on.

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 15:33

Ha ha linda, never too old for a telling off! Hope your mum gets on board soon.

Just went to loo and the tissue was pinkish, having tummy ache Sad

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 16:04

Oh no Sara are you ok? Have you done anymore ic tests today? x

gennibugs · 26/02/2014 16:17

Oh sararara hope you are ok.

Do you often get tummy ache/pinkish before AF?

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 16:22

Sara if you have tests left maybe do another one, this mornings could have been a false +. Hope the bleeding doesn't come to anything x

Nordicmom · 26/02/2014 16:25

Sarara :( I hope you're ok ...

Choccywoccydodah · 26/02/2014 16:31

Sarara I hope you're ok. The pink ones don't show false positives as such, the blue ones do, however they are extremely early and have been what I have always used. They show a positive once you have implanted as such, but not implanted properly (my problem!)
I started to write a post this morning but deleted it urging you not to test til at least 14-15dpo, but I didn't want to come over patronising.
The pink can be due to implantation (even this late!) so please please try not to worry at this stage. If it turns red and your test is still positive, phone your gp immediately and you can be sent for a blood test to check your blood levels.
Please don't stress at the pink for now, I had pink with ds, it's the red that you need to be concerned about xx

Choccywoccydodah · 26/02/2014 16:32

Your tummy ache can be stretching too, so again please don't worry yet x

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 17:20

Thanks guys. And no worries choccy I wouldn't have found it patronising - I know I am testing too early, to be honest I am surprised I have been able to hang on this long Grin I had a chemical before I conceived DS.

I am going to try and hold my wee for a while and then if I can test again later. Although perhaps better to do it again in morning with fmu if AF hasn't arrived? If I test again later and line fainter/not there I will panic but it could be because diluted pee?! Clutching at straws here. AF usually starts with tummy pains and pinkish turning to red spotting so it is looking likely that it it is on its way. I might start buying coloured loo roll so that I can't analyse the colour anymore!!!

On the plus side if this is not meant to be then my next AF would be due at the end of March so I can hang here with you guys for the rest of the month.

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 17:27

SaRaRa I never thought about the test maybe being lighter later in the day, think you should wait til morning for fmu that way it will be darker. I had pinkish spotting with ds1 and everything was fine, apparently it's quite common in early pregnancy, doesn't make it any less scary though and the tummy ache i found worse with ds2 so try not to worry too much about that for now either x

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 17:28

Thanks linda x

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 17:32

It's now that I wish I had told DH that I was POAS this morning. Although he would have spent the day thinking I might be preg and then be disappointed this evening at least I wouldn't have to pretend not to be in a shitty mood this evening and he wouldn't wonder why I am going to the loo half hourly! He will think I have a tummy bug.

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 17:40

Maybe try and relax and get an early night, that way morning will be here before you know it and you can put your mind at rest x

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2014 18:05

Hope its your BFP SaRa! :) With the ic's like retro ive had evap lines top. Mine have been convincing and pink :(

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow! It looks quite a dark line :)

PolytheneGirl · 26/02/2014 18:14

Hope you're ok Sara. Got everything crossed for you. The not knowing is the worst thing about this whole ttc malarkey!

DH is still in a foul mood here! Happy days!

Quick question for ladies using opks. I'm using them for the first time this cycle and got a good clear line yesterday (cd13) but got a very faint line today. Is this normal?

Hibou7688 · 26/02/2014 18:17

Oh I don't even know if I've already been on this thread! This could easily be the third time I've posted on here!! Anyways, I'm ttc#1, cycle 4 bfp due 28th march.. But at the rate my 40 day cycles are going I'm probably going to skip march and go straight into April!

gennibugs · 26/02/2014 18:20

FX Sarara that everything is ok in the morning.

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 18:21

Thanks Treacle. Linda, you're right - chilled evening and early night it is. If it is bfn tomorrow and AF imminent then I will need all the rest I can get as the dtd marathon won't be far off!

Thanks poly. Sorry about DH have you spoken about it again? Re your OPKs I used to get faint lines then a dark one on cd12 or 13 then fainter again. So sounds good to me. You're heading for the 2ww!

Hibou I recognise your name so I think you have been on here. But welcome anyway!
