Glad the epo is working for you MrBsMrs Smile

Starbright24 · 24/02/2014 17:06

Hi MrsB.
According to my calendar. Ovulation tomorrow but with pains I've had and cm, I reckon it's yesterday. AF day is 9th March. Is that the same as BFP day?
Been ttc for a while now (on and off since last april) but dh not always playing the game - v frustrating but things more hopeful this year. :)

MrBsMrsB · 24/02/2014 17:10

Hi Starbright24
Yep, AF or BFP would be due the same day. Are you ttc#1?

Starbright24 · 24/02/2014 17:12

Yep. #1
:)

Treaclepie19 · 24/02/2014 17:31

MrsB my stats are TTC#1 Cycle #3 BFP due 22nd March :)

bellaboo88 · 24/02/2014 17:59

Feeling really positive about this month, really hope you 'graduate' chocy, this has got to be your month! Will be interesting to see for others too, not heard/read about prog pessaries before.

So just a checklist to clarify everyone's top methods in addition to your ewcm/opks etc (please copy/paste & add your own :-) :

Nudp - naked upside down peddling
Koala plan - anyone doing this?
Smep
Swi
Soft cups

Additional stuff
Cough syrup
Evening primrose (seems new popular one)

Anything else? X

Hello ladies hope everyone is well! Isn't it great to get Mondays work over?!!! And have OBEM to look forward to tonight....even though I may be feeling slightly green watching it! DH even loves it, but has only since we started ttc! he wouldn't have been interested before but he's mega broody now!

Choccy!!!!! Fabulous news! So glad to hear your getting great support from the nutty professor!!! I have a gp app early March so hoping to get somewhere this time! Do you know what your prog levels were and what would be deemed as high or low??

Mrsb no problem at all glad epo has helped.

Good luck everyone can't wait to see the first March bfp's rolling in! Pretty certain it won't be mine as I'm still spotting (scant at C) but I can remain on the bus for another shot at March so that's something to feel positive about!! :)

Keep the happy thoughts ladies, we are all blessed in our own ways....just need a little miracle to complete our happiness! :)

Choccywoccydodah · 24/02/2014 18:47

Mama anything over 30 means you've ov'd, mine were 37 at day 21 Smile

mama31 · 24/02/2014 18:50

Thanks choccy I must check that out when I go to GP, I was just told normal so need to see what the number was.

lucyfluff · 24/02/2014 19:00

Great news on the appointment choccy Smile I bet its a relief to hear some positive news. Will be thinking of you and cant wait to hear when you get a bfp Smile

Waves to mama...hope your ok too lovely xx

bilbob23 · 24/02/2014 19:00

Was a bit crazy this afternoon and POAS! Af is due March 1st so obvs test was BFN! I'm not exactly sure if my Af will show up then because my last period was first after coming off pill so I'm quite certain that I won't be as lucky as having the normal 28 day cycle back so soon! I have been driving myself crazy symptom spotting-constipated, tired and dull pain/cramps on left side!! Thanks guys for such a positive vibe on the bus as it has kept me positive!

mama31 · 24/02/2014 19:02

(waves back at lucyfluff) I'm good thanks, no bfp yet, but my time will come! Hope you are well hon x

Lorelei12 · 24/02/2014 19:10

I know it's a bit late, but I'd like to jump on the bus

My AF is due on the 6th March and I'm already fighting off stupid urges to POAS. I know it will be BFN. I know it will be BFN even if I am pregnant, but I still want to do it.

In fairness it is my first month TTC. I have been lurking for a while though, so I have all the terminology down Grin

Gingerbreadlady1 · 24/02/2014 19:21

bella omega 3 fish oils also good
for CM

Choccywoccydodah · 24/02/2014 19:32

Mama ask for a print out from your gp.

Hey Lucy!! How you doing? How far are you now? Did you have your scan?

Oooooooo did writer have her baby, just remembered......

barmybunting · 24/02/2014 19:34

Evening Smile. A busy bus with newbies today, brilliant, we need more people lining up for bfps because March has got to be the month of the most bfps ever I hope!

Thank you for all of the good luck today, that was really lovely to read! I've had a lovely day thanks, the school and kids seem lovely. I have spent the last few years in a school I loved with a passion, but we had some real issues with behaviour and horrible situations some of the poor children faced at home, so it's nice to be a well set up, organised and behaved school! The hour long drive each way is going to drive me mad, but that's not bad for keeping my mind off ttc!

By the way, I have to say, I had the best night's sleep ever last night - amazing what a bit of wine, a warbly chat about green pom poms and dragons, and DTD because you feel like and not because of ov can do the night before you start a new job! I won't confirm that I was also just playing it safe and making sure we DTD one more time before I headed for the tww fully!

Someone asked about regularity of reflexology. I saw my blue haired lady at CD1, CD11 and I'm going again tomorrow, CD27(or 28, I can't remember). Basically, she suggested I go twice in a cycle for the next few cycles in an attempt to regularise my cycle. This is the first cycle that I haven't had mid cycle spotting around ov time, and actually had really definite signs of ov so I'm feeling positive about the impact of it so far. How long does your person suggest you go for once a week?

Choccy so pleased to see an update for you. Your professor sounds like she has got the right idea and can help, that's brilliant!

Retro I hope you get your blood results back soon and all is well.

Spinning yay for a cycle buddy! Are you holding out for late AF to POAS this cycle? I'm trying to but will no doubt fail!

mama31 · 24/02/2014 19:39

Thanks choccy I will get a printout when I go to the appointment.

Barmy glad you had a good first day at your new job! And yes the drive will take your mind off ttc! I work so close to home, I can nip home almost anytime to poas...that's not helpful! I could do with an hour there and an hour back to take my mind off it!

spinningirl10 · 24/02/2014 20:03

Barmy....so pleased your first day went well :) It was me that asked about reflexology, on her website it says she recommends once a week. I'll have to email her and have a chat I think. As for a bfp, I've kind of written it off this month as we only dtd once the night before ov :(
we had been away the previous week and dtd loads so dp went off the boil!! Next month we've agreed to wait to dtd until closer to ov time so as not to wear dp out....haha!!

Choccy....what great news from your appointment....will be keeping everything crossed that you get a sticky bfp soon!

Starbright....my af/bfp is also due on March 9th!!

Oooh and I can't wait for OBEM.....dp on a night shift so I can watch in peace!

SaRaRaRaRa · 24/02/2014 20:13

Choccy glad you had such a good appointment. And so pleased you had a great first day barmy Smile

What are the koala plan and soft cups?!

Can't watch OBEM, it sends me over the edge!

RetroHippy · 24/02/2014 20:28

So pleased you had a good day Barmy, it sounds like a lovely school. I hope you'll be very happy there.

SaRaRaRaRa, softcups are a menstrual cup, similar to a mooncup but, as the name suggests, soft! I'm using them to scoop up the sperm after DTD and hold it in the right place. Might keep it up after successful ttc, it stops that annoying 'dribbly' feeling Blush.

Hey, no-one said it was all roses and soft music Grin

I think Koala plan is you orgasm after DP. The idea being it creates a kind of 'suction'. Romantic?!

SaRaRaRaRa · 24/02/2014 20:55

Thanks retro, have never heard of softcups before! Makes sense I guess - do you still have to do upside down cycling?!

Yikes, koala plan sounds like a lot of effort!

RetroHippy · 24/02/2014 20:57

I do upside down cycling (sneakily in the bathroom so DH doesn't know!) before popping in the softcup to make sure everything is where it should be Grin

SaRaRaRaRa · 24/02/2014 21:05

So do you dtd then go to bathroom and cycle? I'm so paranoid about a drop falling out that as soon as we are finished DH helps hoist me up and I upside down cycle while he goes to the bathroom, then I keep my legs in the air for half an hour. It it so glam and romantic Grin I hate not going to the bathroom to clean up but don't want to waste the possibly crucial swimmer! Although maybe I am being you cautious?!
